AIL LET 2026 Registration has started on April 22, 2026 in online mode on the official website of the Army Institute of Law. Candidates can submit the application form without a late fee till June 05, 2026, while applications with a late fee will be accepted until June 10, 2026. The application procedure involves registration, entering personal and academic information, uploading the required documents, and payment of the application fee. The AIL LET 2026 exam will be held on July 05, 2026.

AIL LET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria to appear for AIL LET 2026. Those who do not meet the eligibility requirements for admission to the BA LLB and LLM programs offered by the institute will not be considered for admission, even if they pass the examination. Candidates can refer to the criteria below:

• Candidates must have completed the 10+2 examination from the Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized board, securing at least 45% marks.
• Applicants appearing for their qualifying examination in March/April 2026 are permitted to take the AIL LET provisionally. However, their admission will be contingent upon achieving the required 45% marks in their 10+2 examination.

• Scanned/soft copy of the passport-size photograph (size less than 200 KB)
• Signature (size less than 200 KB)
• 10th marks sheet (size less than 5 MB)
• 12th marks sheet if the result is declared already (size less than 5 MB)
• Indian Army/Indian Navy/Indian Air Force (size less than 5 MB)

How to Apply for AIL LET 2026?

Here's a detailed step-by-step guide to help you through the AIL LET 2026 application process:

1. Visit the Army Institute of Law (AIL) website at www.ail.ac.in.
2. Click on "Online Application Form – LET 2026."
3. The application process has two steps:

STEP 1: Registration and Submission of Basic Details

• When you click "Online Application Form – LET 2026," a registration form will appear.
• Fill in your basic details like Name, Date of Birth (as per 10th certificate), Gender, Category, Mobile number, and Email ID.
• These details cannot be changed after submission, so keep them for reference.
• You will receive your application number and password via email or SMS.

STEP 2: Application Form Completion and Document Upload

Before you apply online, ensure you have the following documents ready:

• Passport-size photograph (under 200 KB)
• Signature (under 200 KB)
• 10th Marksheet (under 5 MB)
• 12th Marksheet (if available, under 5 MB)
• Log in with the application number and password sent to your email/SMS.
• Click on "Go to Application" and fill in all required details.
• Select your category and provide accurate information.

For Indian Army/Indian Navy/Indian Air Force candidates:

• If both parents are serving or retired, or if one parent is serving and one retired, choose the parent who meets the 10-year service requirement.
• Select the parent who qualifies for weightage based on Gallantry Awards, War Widows, Battle Casualties, etc., if applicable.

Attach the appropriate certificates based on your branch:

• Indian Army: Certificate I/II/III and Certificate IV (if applicable)
• Indian Navy: Certificate V and Certificate IV (if applicable)
• Indian Air Force: Certificate VI and Certificate IV (if applicable)
• Choose your preferred exam city.
• Proceed to make the payment online (Rs. 3300/- or Rs. 4300/- with late fee, if applicable). Payment must be made through Internet banking, Debit/Credit Card. Offline payments will not be accepted.

Important Notes

• Ensure the payment status shows as "successful" on your application preview page for the form to be complete.
• If you submit multiple applications and pay the fee multiple times, the additional payments will not be refunded.
• If you apply only once but make two payments, one payment will be refunded after the LET process is complete.
• If you need to change your exam center, you can request it between April 28 and May 1, 2026, by emailing the details to ailmohalilet2026@gmail.com. No requests will be accepted after this period.
