The UDAI Aviation decides the minimum eligibility requirements for AME CET aspirants. Candidates are required to meet all the eligibility criteria, such as educational qualification, age limit, nationality, physical fitness, and academic performance. Additionally, a 3-year Engineering diploma degree holder can also apply for AME CET 2026. For Engineering and License programs, it is mandatory for aspirants to have studied the 12th standard with PCM or PCB subjects. However, for the Certification programs, students passing the 12th class from any stream are considered eligible.

 

Academic Performance: The minimum marks requirement for candidates who have cleared their 12th or 10th exams is 45%.

 

Age Limit: Apart from the educational qualification and academic performance, students must meet the age criteria. Students can apply for aviation-related courses through AME CET scores only if they are between 14 and 28 years of age.

 

Physical Fitness: Physical fitness is another criterion that is considered before students are granted admission to the aviation programs. Students who are taking AME CET 2026 should be mentally and physically fit. Students diagnosed with colour blindness or any other physical disability will not be considered eligible.

 

Nationality: Applicant’s nationality is one of the factors that determines their eligibility. It is compulsory for students to be Indian citizens to apply and appear for this exam.
