AMUEEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria: AMU administers the AMUEEE 2025 to offer admission to eligible candidates in the following UG courses: Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, and Bachelor of Architecture. The detailed AMU eligibility criteria for the AMUEEE are listed below for reference to the candidates.

  • The candidate must be a resident of India.
  • The candidate must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as a mandatory subject and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science as the third subject.
  • The candidate must have secured a total of 50% (45% for reserved category students) marks in all of these subjects.
  • Candidates who have done a Diploma in Engineering from the AMU with at least 50% marks in total would also be eligible to take the examination.
  • Candidates who have passed the B.Sc. final year exam with Physics and Mathematics as one of the subjects and scored at least 50% (45% for reserved category candidates) marks are also eligible to take this exam.

AMUEEE 2025 Important Dates

The AMUEEE 2025 Application Form was released on 3rd January, 2025, and the last date to apply with a late fee was 15th February, 2025. The important dates regarding the AMUEEE 2025 exam are given in the table below:

AMUEEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Reservation Policy

As per the AMU eligibility criteria, the university follows a reservation policy for admission to its courses. The reservation policy at AMU is listed below:

  • The new reservation policy of AMUEEE states that a total of 50% of seats are reserved for Muslim candidates in 36 post-graduation courses in the Aligarh Muslim University entrance exam.
  • The reservation policy also states that the remaining 50% of seats in these PG courses are for students from all other sections of India.
  • Candidates of Indian origin shall be equally permitted for admission to the remaining 50% of seats in these 36 post-graduation courses as well as all the seats in the remaining 200+ courses.
  • Also, among the remaining 200+ courses, 50% of seats have been reserved for 36 courses in the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
  • In the AMU entrance exam, 20% of seats have been reserved for the AMU's internal candidates.
