AMUEEE 2026 Reservation Policy
As per the AMU eligibility criteria, the university follows a reservation policy for admission to its courses. The reservation policy at AMU is listed below:
- The new reservation policy of AMUEEE states that a total of 50% of seats are reserved for Muslim candidates in 36 post-graduation courses in the Aligarh Muslim University entrance exam.
- The reservation policy also states that the remaining 50% of seats in these PG courses are for students from all other sections of India.
- Candidates of Indian origin shall be equally permitted for admission to the remaining 50% of seats in these 36 post-graduation courses as well as all the seats in the remaining 200+ courses.
- Also, among the remaining 200+ courses, 50% of seats have been reserved for 36 courses in the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
- In the AMU entrance exam, 20% of seats have been reserved for the AMU's internal candidates.
