Bihar BEd CET Eligibility Criteria involves 50% marks in graduation or in post-graduation in Science, Social Science, Humanities, Commerce. Bihar BEd CET 2026: Program-Specific Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Regular 2-Year BEd Programs

Candidates are required to meet the following criteria for the 2-year regular BEd program:

• Minimum 50% marks in Graduation in Science, Social Science, Humanities, or Commerce from a recognised university in India.
• Minimum 50% marks in Post-Graduation in Science, Social Science, Humanities, or Commerce.
• Minimum 55% marks in BE/BTech with a specialisation in Science or Mathematics.

Eligibility for Shiksha Shastri BEd Programs

To be eligible for the Shiksha Shastri BEd program, candidates are required to meet the following eligibility criteria:

• At least 50% marks in BA with Sanskrit as a main subject.
• Minimum 50% in Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/Archarya
• Shastri BA with Sanskrit Subject with at least 50% marks from a recognised university with a 2-year course.
• For the Bridge course, students must pass the Acharya (First year) and MA (Sanskrit) examination in the 1st year.

Candidates who have qualified CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) or Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) from recognised institutions can also appear in the Bihar BEd CET 2026 Exam.
