Age Limit

• Minimum Age: Candidates must graduate before applying for the Bihar B.Ed CET Exam.
• Maximum Age: No upper age limit is specified for the Bihar B.Ed CET Exam 2025.

Educational Qualifications

• General Requirement: Candidates must have completed Graduation (10+2+3) or post-graduation from a recognised university.
• Minimum Marks Requirement: At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation in Science, Social Science, Humanities, or Commerce. Candidates with a BE/BTech degree must have at least 55% marks, specialising in Science or Mathematics.

Nationality

The candidates must be Indian citizens, and their education should be completed from recognised universities in India. However, all candidates outside Bihar are considered Unreserved Category despite SC/ST/OBC Certificates. Only Bihar candidates who hold Divayyang Certificates fall under the reserved candidates category.

Bihar B.Ed CET 2025: Program-Specific Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Regular 2-Year B.Ed Programs

Candidates are required to meet the following criteria for the 2-year regular B.Ed program:

• Minimum 50% marks in Graduation in Science, Social Science, Humanities, or Commerce from a recognised university in India.
• Minimum 50% marks in Post-Graduation in Science, Social Science, Humanities, or Commerce.
• Minimum 55% marks in BE/BTech with a specialisation in Science or Mathematics.

Eligibility for Shiksha Shastri B.Ed Programs

To be eligible for the Shiksha Shastri B.Ed program, candidates are required to meet the following eligibility criteria:

• At least 50% marks in BA with Sanskrit as a main subject.
• Minimum 50% in Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/Archarya
• Shastri BA with Sanskrit Subject with at least 50% marks from a recognised university with a 2-year course.
• For the Bridge course, students must pass the Acharya (First year) and MA (Sanskrit) examination in the 1st year.

Bihar B.Ed CET 2025: Additional Eligibility Criteria

Preference Criteria:

Candidates who have qualified CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) or Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) from recognised institutions can also appear in the Bihar B.Ed CET 2025 Exam. • Divyaang Certificates: Caste or community certificate for reserved categories.

Final-Year Students:
