CCMN is the centralised platform for the MSc and MSc (Tech Programmes) admissions to NITs, IIEST Shibpur and some CFTI institutes that accept the IIT JAM scorecard. Test takers who will appear for IIT JAM 2025 can also take admissions to the CCMN participating institutes by filling out the CCMN registration cum admission form for the academic session 2025-2026.
IIT JAM 2025 Cut Off will be released along with the release of admission list in third week of March 2025. IIT- JAM (Join Admission Test) is administered by the IITs & IISc. In 2025, the JAM written test will be organized by IIT, Delhi.
The examination will be conducted for offering admissions in the Postgraduate & Integrated Ph.D program in the field of M.Sc studies. IIT JAM 2025 is scheduled to take place on 02 February 2025.

CCMN 2025 Cut Off
Generally the cut-off is the minimum marks to qualify for the exam. If candidate obtains the cut-off marks then he/she is eligible for further rounds of counselling. IIT JAM 2025 Cut Off will be maintained on the factors like difficulty level of the exam, how many candidates appeared in the exam, marking scheme, and availability of seats in various institutions.
Through cut-off marks, candidates get a rough idea of whether they are eligible for counselling or admission. Candidates can also estimate the marks they have to obtain in the entrance exam to be qualified for the entrance exam.
The authority will generate the category wise cut-off for all categories. Candidates will be able to check the cut-off with the release of first admission list in last week of May 2025.
IIT JAM 2025 Result will be released on 19 March 2025. To check the result, candidates will have to use their login credentials such as enrollment ID/ email ID and password generated at the time of registration.

CCMN 2025 Cut Off Importance
- Through cut-off, candidates are shortlisted for admission in the M.Sc courses.
- The admission to the participating institutions will be offered based on cut-off.
- Candidates will be invited for admission according to their preference of courses and cut-off.
- The cut-off has been released subject-wise for all PG-offered courses.
- All IITS and IISC will declare a separate cut-off for admitting the candidates to their campuses.
IIT JAM Rank & Merit List 2025 for CCMN
Based on the performance of the candidate, for each test paper, the All India Rank will be allotted to the qualified candidates. Based on the AIR rank of the candidates a separate merit list will be prepared.
A merit list will be prepared based on a total number of availability of category-wise seats in all institutions.
Candidates whose names will appear in All India Merit rank list will be eligible to take admission. Candidates are assigned the AIR as per their category mentioned in the application form.
IIT JAM 2025 Counselling (First Admission List) will be released in May 2025. To attend the IIT JAM counselling 2025, candidates have to fill out the admission form. Candidates who have qualified for the examination are only eligible for admission.
Tie-Breaking
The tie-breaking scheme will be accepted by the authority in case two candidates will secure the same aggregate marks in a test. The candidate with a higher number of positive marks than negative marks will be given a higher rank. If this criterion does not work to break ties, the candidates will be provided with the same ranks.
