AUCET PG 2025: Dates, Counselling, Admission Process, Syllabus

AUCET PG 2025 has been discontinued. Now, admission to various PG courses happens through qualifying exams such as AP ICET 2025, AP EAMCET 2025, GATE, CAT, XAT, etc. To get more information on the admission process, candidates should check the official website at audoa.andhrauniversity.edu.in. Candidates appearing through AP ICET must appear in the test on May 7, 2025. Every year, approximately 20000 students register for AUCET PG admission.

 

Andhra Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET PG) 2025

 

AUCET notification 2025 is out about the registration process and filling out the application form. Candidates need to register along with their details such as name, date of birth, category, and contact details. For the MTech evening and regular courses, the sponsored students must pay INR 1000 and INR 2000, paid in the form of a demand draft. However, for the online AUCET PG applications, the General category candidates must pay a fee of INR 600, and INR 500 must be paid by the reserved category candidates.

 

AUCET PG 2025 will be held in an offline pen and paper-based mode. There will be a total of 100 questions for whatever subjects the candidate opts for. The list of subjects from which the choice can be made are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Humanities and Social Science, Geology, and English. Each question dwells a +1 mark without implementing any marks deduction for incorrect ones.

 

The results of AUCET PG exam will be available in the form of rank cards. Candidates will be required to download their results by providing the hall ticket number and date of birth. The minimum qualifying marks set for the General category are 50% and 45% for the reserved and OBC categories. Andhra University will start AUCET PG counselling process in July 2025. Candidates need to submit the hall ticket, rank card, date of birth certificate, qualifying exam certificates, etc. during the counselling verification process.

 

What is AUCET PG 2025 Examination?

Andhra University conducts Andhra University Common Entrance Test or in short AUCET PG. The test is conducted on an yearly basis and is done for admission into ME/MTech, MA, MFA, MSc, M.Lib.I.Sc, MEd, MCom, and LLM curriculums. Every year, the exam is conducted in 8 exam cities located in Andhra Pradesh. Approximately 17000 students appear for the test yearly out of 19000 registered headcounts. Apart from the scores of AUCET PG, sponsored categories can also apply with respective AP PGECET, AP ICET, and GATE scores for the MTech admission at Andhra University.

AUCET PG 2025 Application Form

The registration process will be carried out online mode at the website, i.e., audoa.andhrauniversity.edu.in. However, candidates need to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before filling out the form. Firstly, candidates need to enter all the personal details like name, date of birth, category, nationality, and contact number with email ID. Next, after receiving the login credentials, i.e., registration number and password, they must log in and fill out the rest of the form. Candidates must also choose from the 8 exam cities of their preference, upload a recent photograph and signature, and finally proceed with the payment. The general candidate needs to pay an application fee of INR 600 and INR 500 for SC/ ST categories.

 

AUCET PG 2025 Eligibility Criteria

All Indian students are eligible to appear in AUCET PG 2025 examination. Candidates must have the local status of the Andhra Pradesh state to apply for the examination. As said, there is no lower age limit, however, there will be a maximum age limit for availing of the fee reimbursement. According to this, the maximum age limit is 34 years for SC/ ST and 30 years for EBC/ Minorities/ PwD. Students must pass his/ her class 10+2 from a recognized Board with at least 50% marks. The qualifying mark is set as 45% for the reserved categories.

 

AUCET PG 2025 Syllabus

AUCET PG 2025 syllabus, aka qualifying exam syllabus, includes the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Humanities and Social Science, Geology, and English. AUCET PG hall tickets are made available online. Candidates can check and download respective hall tickets by entering the application number and date of birth. The hall tickets are only made available on the website, i.e., audoa.andhrauniversity.edu.in. Candidates can check all the personal, exam day, and test day-related guidelines. Students can also check the uploaded photograph and signature and report at 0891-2573441 if there are any discrepancies regarding the same.

AUCET PG 2025 Results

AUCET PG 2025 scorecards will be made live on the website, i.e., audoa.andhrauniversity.edu.in. Students need to enter the hall ticket number and date of birth to download the results. The results include name, roll number, application number, gender, marks, and rank. In case of any tie between the two students, the student with the highest marks then, followed by older age will be determined for merit.

 

AUCET PG 2025 Cut Off

The cut off ranks for all the postgraduate courses will be released after the declaration of results. The minimum qualifying marks for the General category are 50%, 45% for SC/ ST/ OBC, and 40% for PwD students. The cut off ranks will depend on the overall difficulty, number of qualified candidates, number of seats available, etc.
