IISER 2025: Round 2 seat allotment list for IISER 2025 counselling will be released on August 1, 2025, for candidates who either did not get a seat in the first round or opted to wait for subsequent rounds. Round 1 seat allotment was declared on July 21, 2025, with the opening and closing ranks (AIR and category-wise) also announced. Candidates who have been allotted seats must accept and freeze their seats and complete the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) payment by July 26, 2025, up to 5 PM to confirm their admission.

Earlier, the last date to register for IISER 2025 counselling was July 7, 2025. Only those candidates who had a valid All India Rank (AIR) or category rank were eligible to register by logging into their account on the official website at iiseradmission.in. Before that, the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2025 result was announced on June 24, 2025, for admission to the 5-year BS-MS dual degree, 4-year BS, and BTech programmes. Candidates were able to check their scores and ranks by logging in with their credentials. It is important to note that IISER does not publish cutoff marks directly on the result card or official website; instead, the opening and closing ranks for each round serve as an indicator of the admission cut-offs.

 

The IISER 2025 Registration link has been activated by IISER Tirupati today, March 10, 2025. Candidates can apply till April 15, 2025. The entire application procedure will be conducted online. Before proceeding with the application form, candidates are advised to check the IISER 2025 Eligibility . The IISER 2025 Exam or IISER Aptitude Test 2025 (IAT 2025) will take place on May 25, 2025. A few days before the exam, the authority will issue the admit card to the candidates.

  • For candidates who first appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) exam in 2024 and reappeared in any subject in 2025, the better of the two results will be considered.
  • If a board calculates aggregate marks using both Class XI and XII, only the marks from the Class XII (or equivalent) exam will be considered. For boards that calculate aggregate marks over all three years of a 3-year diploma or similar course, only the final year's marks will be taken into account. Similarly, for boards with a semester system, only the marks from the last two semesters will be considered.
  • If a board gives grades without showing an equivalent percentage of marks, candidates must get a certificate from the board stating the equivalent percentage and submit it before the deadline.
