IISER 2025: Round 2 seat allotment list for IISER 2025 counselling will be released on August 1, 2025, for candidates who either did not get a seat in the first round or opted to wait for subsequent rounds. Round 1 seat allotment was declared on July 21, 2025, with the opening and closing ranks (AIR and category-wise) also announced. IISER 2025 Eligibility

• For candidates who first appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) exam in 2024 and reappeared in any subject in 2025, the better of the two results will be considered.
• If a board calculates aggregate marks using both Class XI and XII, only the marks from the Class XII (or equivalent) exam will be considered. For boards that calculate aggregate marks over all three years of a 3-year diploma or similar course, only the final year's marks will be taken into account. Similarly, for boards with a semester system, only the marks from the last two semesters will be considered.
• If a board gives grades without showing an equivalent percentage of marks, candidates must get a certificate from the board stating the equivalent percentage and submit it before the deadline.
