What Is CUCET 2027?
CUCET 2027 is the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test, an Entrance cum Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes at Chandigarh University. The CUCET entrance exam recognizes academic excellence, aptitude, potential, and talent of the candidates who are willing to take admission. CUCET exam assesses candidates on the syllabus of their qualifying examination. along with subject specific aptitude and conceptual understanding. CUCET is conducted by Chandigarh University, a private university, and not by a government agency such as the National Testing Agency.
Applicants for UG and PG programmes at the Chandigarh University Mohali Campus use CUCET 2027 to compete for scholarships. International students and those migrating from another college or university are excluded from the scholarship scope. CUCET Eligibility Criteria covers educational qualifications, minimum marks, and special scholarship considerations for candidates applying to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. There is no age or nationality restriction. However, candidates are required to have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in all types of courses. CUCET Registration 2027
CUCET registration 2027 has started on October 13, 2026 for all candidates through online and offline modes. The application form will be filled on the CUCET registration page after creating a profile on the official website. To fill the registration form students can follow the steps below:
Online mode (CUCET apply 2027):
- Visit the CUCET website, cucet.cuchd.in, for registration.
- Register on the CUCET registration page and create a profile.
- A confirmation message is sent through SMS/E-mail after successful registration.
- Paying the registration fee of INR 1000/- (non-refundable). This will also include the digital copy of the prospectus.
- Fill in the current qualification with school name and subjects. Students will need to choose the CUCET exam date from the drop down.
- A link is sent via E-mail/SMS/WhatsApp to click and upload a live photo, which is mandatory before appearing in the exam.
Offline mode: Applicants can purchase the CUCET brochure cum form from university admission offices or authorized centres. Students will need to pay INR 1000/- (non refundable). After getting the form, students will need to scratch it to get the unique number. Candidates will need to enter it in the option on the website, and then follow the same registration steps as online applicants.
CUCET Registration Fees 2027
CUCET 2027 fee depends on the attempt and the phase. In Phase 1, attempt 1 will cost INR 1000 in Phase 1, while attempt 2 costs INR 500. New candidates applying in Phase 2 will need to pay the full amount of INR 1000 for the first attempt. Candidates who have already registered will need to pay INR 500 in Phase-1 and INR 500 for Phase 2.Fees structure for both online and offline modes are same:
CUCET Exam Pattern 2027
CUCET exam pattern 2027 will have 100 multiple choice questions to be solved in 120 minutes. Each correct answer carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking. The test login window runs from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Any candidate who logs in at 3:30 PM can complete the 120 minutes till 5:30 PM. Programme wise question distribution is given in Annexure-I and covered in detail on the CUCET exam pattern page.

CUCET Scholarship 2027 (Phase 1 vs Phase 2)
Phase 1 will give higher scholarship slabs than Phase 2 for every score band below 90.01 marks. CUCET 2027 scholarship slab will run from 100% for the top band to eligibility only for 30 to 39.99 marks. CUCET scholarship renewal
Scholarships are given for the entire duration of the program. The scholarships are subject to renewal every year. Recipients are required to apply for renewal each year and maintain 7.5 CGPA at the end of each year. Students must not indulge in any activity of indiscipline, and must not have E, F or I in any subject each year. The scholarship is discontinued in any case of indiscipline at any point of time.Scholarship slabs for Industry Collaborated programs are different and are displayed on the CUCET website and under program details on cuchd.in. Note: If a candidate changes the program before or after the examination, the scholarship is based on the final chosen or admitted program.

- Begin with the official CUCET 2026 syllabus and exam pattern. This helps in knowing what to expect and what areas to focus on while studying.
- Set up a study routine that allows students to complete the syllabus comfortably before the exam. Remember to add time for practice tests and revision.

- To access the answer key, candidates must visit cucet.cuchd.in/ and log in using their registered Email ID and password.
- On the dashboard, candidates can find and click the “Answer Key” or “Download Answer Key” link to view and download the PDF.
- By comparing marked answers with the official key, candidates can calculate their scores. Each correct answer gets one mark, and there is no negative marking.
- If any errors are found, candidates can raise objections during the objection window provided after the key is released.
- To raise objections, candidates need to log in, go to the “Raise Objection” section, and mention the question details along with the correct answer.
- A fee of INR 500 per objection is charged, which is non-refundable. Payment can be made online through debit card, credit card, or net banking.
- Once the objection period ends, the examination team reviews all challenges. If corrections are needed, the answer key is updated.
