Karnataka PGCET 2025 Application Process: How to Apply, Dates, Application Fees

The Karnataka PGCET 2025 application process started on April 25, 2025, and the last date to apply was May 19, 2025. The registration is done online. To apply successfully for this exam, students were required to provide details such as their name, gender, date of birth, email address, and mobile number to register. Further, they must pay the application fee and submit the form. The fee is INR 650 for General/ OBC students and INR 500 for SC/ ST/Category I students. After submitting the form, students will get an email confirming their registration for Karnataka PGCET.

To be eligible for Karnataka PGCET 2025, students must hold a three-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). The exam for M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Arch courses was held on May 31, 2025, and for MCA and MBA courses, it was conducted on June 22, 2025.

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria for MBA

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% (45% for unreserved categories). In addition to the qualifying degree, candidates aspiring for a part-time MBA must have a minimum of three years of work experience to be eligible for Karnataka PGCET 2025.

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria for MCA

Candidates aspiring for the MCA course must have passed from any of the following courses with 50% aggregate for the UR category and 45% aggregate for the reserved categories. Also, they must hold any of the following qualifications:

• BCA
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent degree
• B.Sc. with Mathematics in 10+2 or graduation level
• B.A. with Mathematics in 10+2 or graduation level
• B.Com with Mathematics in 10+2 or graduation level

Karnataka PGCET 2025 Application Process

The online form for Karnatak PGCET 2025 was available on April 25, 2025, and could be filled on the website kea.kar.nic.in. The last date to register was May 19, 2025. The registration process has two steps. In the first step, basic details need to be filled in, and the information can be edited or deleted if needed. In the second step, the details need to be reviewed and confirmed. Once confirmed, no changes can be made to the application form.

Step 1: Karnataka PGCET Registration

• Visit the official website of Karnataka PGCET
• Go to the ‘New User? Register here.
• Fill in the required details such as Name, Gender, Contact Details, etc.
• Applicants will then receive a User ID and Password on the email ID and mobile number provided by them.

Step 2: Filling the Karnataka PGCET Application Form

• Now, log in to the account using the credentials provided during registration.
• Fill in the personal details, academic details and contact details in the given form stated as ‘Student Information Page.’
• Click on Save and Next.

Step 3: Uploading Scanned Documents

• Candidates must keep scanned copies of their latest colored photograph, signature, parent signature and their left thumb impression.
• Upload the documents mentioned above in JPG/ JPEG format.
• Select the “save and next” button.
• Click on next. A declaration page will appear on the screen; candidates must read the declaration and then submit the Karnataka PGCET 2025 Application Form.

Document Size & Specifications

KEA has defined specific size, format and dimensions for each of the documents. Failing to follow the same will Karnataka PGCET 2025 Result in cancellation of the application.

Candidate’s Photograph

• The photo should be in passport size.
• It should be a recent one, preferably in colour.

• The signature should be done on white paper.
• It should be done in blue or black ink.

• Thumbprint should not be blurred.

Step 4: Accepting Declaration & Submitting the Form

• After furnishing the details in the form, candidates must review the entire online form.
• Post that, a declaration box will pop up.
• Read all the details and click ‘Agree’ if applicants are satisfied with the conditions.
• Make note, no edits or omissions can be made after submitting the form.

Step 5: Karnataka PGCET Application Fee Payment

• To complete the payment, candidates must select the bank challan and take a printout of the same.
• General category candidates must pay INR 650 while reserved category candidates shall pay INR 500 as an application fee.
• The payment can be made through any branch of the specified bank. Candidates will be given two copies of the challan after the payment is completed, and the bank itself will retain one copy.
• Retain proof of the payment for any future references.
• After filling in the Karnataka PGCET 2025 Application Form, take a printout for future reference.

Karnataka PGCET 2025 Application Form Correction

After the KEA closes the Karnataka PGCET registration window, candidates can rectify/modify details in the Karnataka PGCET 2025 application form. In the instance of any error in the Karnataka PGCET application form, candidates can use the form correction window facilitated by the Karnataka Examination Authority.

Karnataka PGCET 2025 Admit Card

All the candidates completing the Karnataka PGCET registration before the last date will be issued the Karnataka PGCET admit card. Candidates need to carry a hard copy of the PGCET admit card on the examination day. If the candidates cannot show the Karnataka PGCET admit card on the examination day, the officials will not allow them to enter the centre.
