For PhD admission through LPUNEST 2026, candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grades. LPUNEST Eligibility Criteria 2026: Aggregate Relaxation

The exam authority has not set any category-wise reservation criteria, but candidates belonging to certain regions can get relaxation in the passing marks percentage. Here are the details:

Candidates belonging to the North-East states and Sikkim will get a 5% relaxation in the qualifying exam.
Similarly, this 5% aggregate relaxation is also applicable to defence personnel and their wards.
The relaxation is also applicable to the Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.
