NATA Application Form 2025: Date, Fees, Eligibility & Steps

NATA 2025 Applications opened on February 3, 2025, on the official portal at nata.in. Students could fill the form, upload documents, and submit the fee online till August 9, 2025. The portal remained open from June 25 to August 5 with a slot booking facility. The admit cards were issued a few days before each test date, and the exam was held in multiple sessions from March to August.

Candidates who passed Class 12 in 2023, 2024, or 2025 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject were allowed to apply as per the NATA 2025 Eligibility Criteria. There was no upper age limit for admission.

The application was complete only after the registration fee was paid. Students also had to upload a scanned photograph, signature, and basic academic details like Class 10 and 12 marks. A short correction window was available after submission, so all details had to be verified before final submission. These steps were mandatory for appearing in the NATA 2025 Exam.

NATA 2025 Application Dates

The NATA 2025 registration began on February 3, 2025, through the official website nata.in. The Council of Architecture is conducting the exam in multiple sessions this year, allowing students to appear in one or more attempts. For the first test, candidates were allowed to complete their registration and fee payment by the first week of April 2025. The admit cards were made available in the fourth week of April, and the first test of NATA 2025 was conducted in the same month at designated centres across the country.

Students could apply for NATA 2025 only if they followed the basic rules set by the Council of Architecture (CoA) for B.Arch admission. These included things like being an Indian citizen, passing Class 12 with certain subjects, and scoring the required minimum marks.

NATA 2025 Registration Fee

Candidates filling the NATA 2025 application form were required to pay the registration fee to complete their submission. The payment could be made only through online modes such as debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking. Applications without a successful fee payment were considered incomplete and not accepted by the Council of Architecture.

Since the registration fee was non-refundable, candidates were advised to double-check all their personal and academic details before making the payment. Once the transaction was successful, a payment receipt appeared on the portal. Students were told to download and keep it safe for future use during counselling or admission.

How to Fill NATA 2025 Application Form?

Candidates could fill out the NATA 2025 application form only through the official website, nata.in. The entire process involved six major steps from registration to downloading the final confirmation page. Below is a step-by-step guide:

Step 1. Go to the Official NATA Website

Students had to go to the NATA 2025 portal and click on the “NATA 2025 Registration” button. A new page opened where candidates had to enter their basic details such as full name, mobile number, email ID, and date of birth to start the process.

Step 2. Finish Registration to Get Login Credentials

After submitting the initial form, candidates received an OTP on their registered mobile number/email ID. Once verified, the system generated a unique Application Number and password for logging in.

Step 3. Make the Payment Before Filling the Form

Before proceeding to fill the rest of the form, candidates had to pay the registration fee through online payment options like debit/credit card, UPI, or net banking. The fee amount depended on the candidate’s category and the number of tests they chose. Only after a successful transaction could the form be completed.

Step 4. Fill in Personal, Academic, and Exam Details

Candidates were required to enter their personal information, Class 10/12 or Diploma details, exam preference (Test 1, 2, or 3), and preferred exam centre. It's important to review all information carefully before final submission.

Step 5. Upload the Required Documents

A recent passport-size photograph and scanned signature had to be uploaded in JPG/JPEG format. In addition, scanned images of the candidate’s ID proof and qualifying exam certificate (if available) were required.

Step 6. Submit and Save the Confirmation Page

After verifying all details and completing document uploads, candidates had to submit the application. A confirmation page was generated on the portal, which had to be downloaded and saved. This page serves as proof of successful registration and may be needed during the exam or counselling process.

Documents Required for NATA 2025 Application

Before starting the NATA 2025 application, students were told to keep all necessary documents ready. This helped them avoid confusion or errors at the last minute. These are the documents most candidates had with them:

• A recent passport-size colour photograph
• Scanned signature in the right format (JPG/JPEG, as per size instructions)
• Class 10 mark sheet (for DOB proof) and Class 12 mark sheet or hall ticket
• A valid photo ID like Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving Licence
• Caste/category certificate (if applying under SC/ST/OBC/EWS quota)

NATA 2025 Application Important Instructions

Before starting the NATA 2025 application, students were advised to properly read all the instructions. Even small errors in the form could delay verification or even get the form rejected.

• The exam centre once selected couldn’t be changed, so students had to be extra careful while choosing the location.
• Only one application per candidate was allowed. Submitting more than one could cause problems.
• The photo and signature had to be clear and uploaded in the exact format and size mentioned by the authorities. Blurry or wrong uploads could lead to form rejection.
• A valid email ID and mobile number were necessary for registration. All future updates, like admit card info or exam alerts, were sent to these registered contacts.
• The application fee had to be paid online via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. Forms without a successful payment weren’t accepted.
• It was a good idea to take a printout of the filled form and payment receipt for future reference. These might be needed later during admissions, too.
• A correction window was given after the application deadline, but only a few things could be edited, so it was better to double-check everything before submitting the form.
• The NATA 2025 admit card was released closer to the exam and had to be downloaded from the official site before the test date.
