NID DAT 2025 registration process started from September 11, 2025. Candidates can follow the given steps below to apply for the NID DAT 2025 exam. The steps outlined below outline the procedure for filling out the NID Entrance Exam application form. Candidates can follow the procedure as stated for a hassle-free application form filling:

Step 1: Online Registration- Candidates must visit the official website of NID. They need to look for the registration portal and click on it. Students must enter all the necessary details on the page, such as the name of the candidate, the course name, and other personal information. Now, they can click on the submit tab after entering all the required information. The screen will display the newly created login credentials, which candidates must note.

Step 2: Login Procedure- Candidates must enter their email ID and other important credentials, including the verification code. They must click on the submit tab. Now, they can start filling the NID application form 2025 after submission.

Step 3: NID 2026 Application Form Filling- They must enter their personal details, educational qualification information, address, etc, in the NID DAT 2026 application form. The candidates must note that all the details provided by them in the NID DAT admission form 2026 must be authentic, and to the best of their knowledge. • Candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories are required to submit their caste category certificate to avail the reservation.
• If they belong to the PwD category, they are required to submit their disability certificates, which are issued by proper medical authorities, for availing of reservation.
• Students belonging to the overseas category are required to submit scanned copies of the front and back of their passports, clearly showing all their personal information.

Specifications for Uploading Images on NID Application Form 2026

The images to be uploaded along with the NID application form 2026 must be appropriately uploaded as per the below-mentioned specifications. Students must note the required size of the files and the formats, based on the image to be attached with the NID admission form 2026 are stated below:

• Caste category certificate images should be in JPG or JPEG format, and the file size should not be more than 150 KB.
• The images of the photograph and the signature should have a file size of 50 to 100 KB each, and the format should be JPG or JPEG.
• PWD category certificate must be in JPG/JPEG format and should not exceed 150 KB in size.
• Overseas certificates must also be in JPG/JPEG format and should not exceed 150 KB in size.
• For a PhD, the no-objection certificate should be in PDF format, and the file size should not exceed 1 MB.
• Other documents should also be in PDF format, and the file size should be less than 5 MB.

Candidates can make changes to their application forms through the correction window provided by the exam authorities. They should be aware that they will not able to make changes related to their emails, birth dates, reservation categories, eligibility, etc. The following are the steps involved in editing NID DAT application form 2026:
