OUAT 2026 Exam Pattern is released by the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) in its official notification in March 2026. Candidates aspiring to appear for and qualify in the OUAT 2026 exam must be familiar with the exam pattern, marking scheme, and other key details for thorough preparation. As per the official notification, OUAT 2026 entrance exam pattern remains unchanged from the previous year. However, in 2021, the exam mode was shifted from offline (paper-based) to online (computer-based test or CBT).

 

According to the OUAT UG exam pattern, the exam will consist of 200 questions covering three sections, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. Additionally, the OUAT entrance exam syllabus was revised, discontinuing the Mental Aptitude section and reducing sectional weightage.

OUAT UG 2026 Exam Pattern Overview

OUAT UG 2026 entrance exam will be held online through Computer-Based Testing (CBT). Candidates will have 2 hours to complete the exam, which will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The total question paper will be worth 200 marks, with 1 mark awarded for each correct answer. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The subject-wise distribution for the OUAT UG 2026 exam is as follows: Physics and Chemistry are each allocated 66 marks, while Mathematics or Biology carries 68 marks, bringing the total to 200 marks.
