How to Apply For The PTE Academic Exam

1. Create Pearson Account:

• Open pearsonpte.com
• Click on “Create account” and enter details as per the information mentioned in ID proofs.
• Wait 48 hours to receive a login link via email.

2. Schedule Test Date and Time

• Log in using the link provided in the email
• Click “Schedule a Test”
• Choose “PTE Academic”
• Select the nearest test centres and desired date and time.

3. Enter ID proof details.

• Put name, middle name, and surname according to the identification document
• Use Roman characters throughout

4. Pay the exam fee

• Pay the exam fee using a credit/debit card
• The PTE Exam Fee in India is INR 18000.

5. Get Confirmation

PTE Application Process 2025: Accommodations/ Special Arrangements

Pearson Group offers accommodations or special arrangements for test-takers with disabilities or any health needs. By aligning with local disability laws, the conducting body provides a separate room, wheelchair access, and additional equipment, such as a lamp, magnifying glass, adjustable workstation and chair, adjustable monitor brightness, a 10-minute break, and extra time (25%). However, to access the facilities under these special arrangements, candidates must complete a request form at the time of registration. 1. Candidates must mention the special needs during the profile creation on their My PTE account.
2. Once they create their profiles, they are asked to fill out a form with details of the request.
3. The submitted form is reviewed, and the customer support team contacts the candidates.
4. Candidates must note that they should submit the form at least six weeks before the chosen test date.
5. If any test-taker has any hand injury, they should contact the examination authority before booking the test. Otherwise, they will not be able to take the test and will not get any refund as well.
6. If any unexpected illness is experienced on the exam day, no score adjustment is made by the examination authority.

How To Reschedule PTE Exam 2025

Candidates can reschedule their PTE Exam 2025 in two ways: either by phone or through the myPTE portal. Candidates can follow the guidelines below to reschedule their PTE Exam:

• The PTE Exam 2025 can be rescheduled at no additional cost if it is done at least 14 days before the test date.

What If Any Medical and Family Emergency Before the PTE Exam

If candidates are unable to reach the test centre on the scheduled test date due to a sudden medical or family emergency, the test date can be rescheduled. However, candidates should complete the “Request Emergency Reschedule” form and attach the required evidence. Candidates must note that there is no automatic right to rebook or receive refunds in case of an emergency. Candidates are contacted if any additional proof is required.

PTE Application Process 2025: Documents

Candidates need to present a valid and non-expired Passport on the PTE Exam day. However, they must ensure that the entered information in the registration form matches the ID proof.

• The name, date of birth, citizenship, and gender must match the information on the ID proofs.
