As per the TANCET exam pattern 2027, the exam will be conducted in offline mode. The exam will be conducted at the state level by Anna University, Chennai. Through the TANCET exam, candidates will be able to get admission to MBA and MCA programmes in Tamil Nadu.
- As per the TANCET exam pattern 2027, there are a total of 4 sections for MCA and 5 sections for the MBA exam.
- Each section in MCA consists of 25 questions, and MBA consists of 20 questions.
- The exam will be conducted for a total duration of 2 hours (120 minutes).

Most of the TANCET exam pattern over the years has remained unchanged. The exam has been conducted for a total of 100 marks and 2 hours duration from 2018 to 2026. However, there has been a change in the marking scheme. From 2018 to 2022, -⅓ marks were deducted for an incorrect answer, but from 2023, the negative marking became -¼ marks.
