TS ICET Eligibility Criteria 2026 has been released by Kakatiya University through the official notification PDF. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam must carefully check and meet all the eligibility requirements before applying. Only those who fulfill the criteria and submit the application form within the given deadline will be allowed to appear for the TS ICET 2026 exam for admission into MBA and MCA courses offered in various modes such as full-time, part-time, evening, and distance learning. It is important to note that if any candidate is found to be providing incorrect or false information regarding their eligibility, they will be disqualified from the admission process. The last date to apply for TS ICET 2026 has been extended till March 23, 2026, without a late fee.
TS ICET Eligibility Criteria 2026
The TS ICET Eligibility Criteria is an important prerequisite that should be fulfilled by all the aspirants. The eligibility criteria involve various components, which include age limit, qualification, nationality, experience, etc., and are shared below:
Age Limit
- The minimum age of the candidates must be 19 years as of the date of notification while applying for the TS ICET exam.
- Candidates who are born on or before March 30, 2004.
- There shall be no maximum age limit.
Educational Qualification
The TS ICET eligibility requirements for educational qualifications should be fulfilled by the candidates before applying for the entrance exam. The required qualifications are shared below:

| Master of Computer Applications (MCA) | Should have passed recognized Bachelor's Degree (BCA / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or its equivalent degree / B.Sc/B.Com/B.A) examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50 percent marks (45 percent marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level. |
Note: The qualifying Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program/ Open Distance Learning (ODL) should have recognition by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC/DEB as per UGC Regulations of 2013.
Nationality
- The candidate should be an Indian National and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in G.O.
- The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.

Number of Attempts
The Kakatiya University, Warangal, has not mentioned any bar on the number of attempts for appearing in the TS ICET exam process. Candidates can appear till they fulfil other eligibility conditions.
