TS LAWCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria for the 3-Year and 5-Year LLB Program have been prescribed by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) along with the official notification. Candidates should check if they have scored at least 45% marks in the last qualifying exam. Reserved category candidates are given a relaxation of 5%, i.e., 40% aggregate marks in the last qualifying exam. There is no upper age limit for any course. However, minimum age limits apply depending on the course. Not meeting the eligibility criteria of TS LAWCET 2026 will result in immediate disqualification. TS LAWCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria Overview
To appear for TS LAWCET 2026, candidates must be Indian citizens and meet specific residential requirements. They must either be native residents of Telangana or have at least one parent who is a domicile of the state. If a candidate’s parents studied in Telangana, they are also considered eligible. Candidates must also present valid residential and citizenship proof during the TS LAWCET 2026 Application Process.

TS LAWCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria for 3-Year LLB Program
To apply for the 3-year LLB program through TS LAWCET 2026, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in any stream. The degree must be of at least three years from a recognised university. Candidates in the final year of their graduation can also apply. A minimum of 45% aggregate marks is required for General category students, 42% for OBC, and 40% for SC/ST. If the graduation score is low, higher marks in PG or B.Ed will be considered.

TS LAWCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria for 5-Year LLB Program
For the 5-year LLB program, candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam. The exam must be recognised by a central or state board. Students appearing for the final Class 12 exam may also apply. General category students must score at least 45%, OBC students 42%, and SC/ST students 40% in their 12th exam. The domicile requirement remains the same as for the 3-year program.
