AFMI Mysore offers a two-year full-time PGDM program in Agri & Food Business, designed to equip students with the managerial and sector-specific skills needed for careers in the agriculture and food industries. Admission to the PGDM (Agri & Food Business) program at AFMI Mysore is based on merit and through a multi-level selection process. The applicants must possess a graduate degree in Agriculture, Food, Life Sciences, or allied fields with a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying test.

 

The initial step is a written examination. AFMI accepts the marks of national and state management entrance examinations such as CAT, MAT, GMAT, ATMA, or any test accepted by AFMI. Candidates who do not have any of these marks can attempt the AFMI Entrance Test, which is an online examination. Shortlisted candidates who clear the written test are called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). They will then undergo the Psychological and Fitness Test.

Agriculture and Food Management Institute (AFMI), Mysore, offers a 2-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Agri & Food Business. Candidates must hold a graduate degree in Agriculture, Food, Life Sciences, or related fields with at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination. The course fee is INR 3.50 lakh, excluding hostel fees.

AFMI Mysore Application Process 2025

Admission to PGDM (Agri & Food Business) at AFMI Mysore is based on merit and multi-stage selection. The candidate must possess a graduate degree in Agriculture, Food, Life Sciences, or an allied field with a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

 

The initial step is a written test. AFMI also accepts national and state exam scores such as CAT, MAT, GMAT, ATMA, or any other approved test. If the applicants don't get such scores, they can take the AFMI Entrance Test, an online test. It should be added that GMAT scores remain valid for five years.

  • You can complete the form in multiple sessions — your progress will be saved automatically.
  • Review all details carefully before submitting the application fee. No changes are allowed after payment.
  • Incorrect or incomplete forms may be rejected.
  • SC/ST/PwD candidates must upload valid certificates. Category changes cannot be made after registration.
  • A short correction window will be available after registration closes for a limited time only.

 

CAT 2025 Registration Fee

  • The registration fee for CAT 2025 must be paid online only.
  • Candidates can choose from SBI ePay or BillDesk payment gateways.
  • The fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • The application fee is required to be paid only once, regardless of the number of IIMs or other institutions to which candidates are applying.
