Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna, also known as CIMP, is an autonomous B-School in Bihar. The institute was established in 2008 by the Government of Bihar and offers a 2-year full-time program in Post Graduate Diploma in Management. The Chandragupt Institute of Management is approved by the AICTE, and its PGDM course is accredited by the NBA, equivalent to an MBA as recognised by the AIU. The institute also offers a Post Graduate Programme in Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Development (IEV), an Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM), and a full-time residential Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) program. The total intake for its flagship PGDM course is 180, and students have to appear for CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, CMAT, ATMA, or CUET for admissions.

CAT 2025 registration started on 1 August, 2025, (10:00 AM), and the window will remain open until 13 September, 2025, (till 5:00 PM). The selection process at Chandragupt Institute of Management, Patna has three steps:

Step 1: In the first step, candidates are shortlisted based on their test scores, academic records, and work experience.

• Last Date to Apply: Candidates must complete their registration by 13 September, 2025.

How to Register:

• Registration is online only via the official CAT portal.
• A valid and unique email ID and mobile number are mandatory to begin the registration process.
• Upon registration, candidates will receive a User ID and Password to log in and complete the application form.

Important Guidelines:

• Candidates can fill the form in multiple sessions — progress will be saved automatically.

• XLRI Jamshedpur has released the XAT 2026 application form on July 10, 2025. The registration can be completed only through online mode—no offline option is available.
• To begin, candidates must first create XAT login credentials. The registration process is divided into three stages. Once logged in, applicants should fill in the form with personal, contact, and academic details.
• Candidates must upload correct documents, including a recent photograph and signature, to avoid form rejection.
• In case of errors, a correction window will be provided for making necessary changes.
• The last date to submit the XAT 2026 application form is likely December 5, 2025. After submission, it is advised to download and keep a printout of the form for future reference during the admission process.
• Registration fee of XAT 2026 is same for all category candidates.
