IIM Ranchi offers MBA, MBA-BA, and MBA-HRM programs that require a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD) and CAT + JAP for selection, with fees of INR 19.20 lakhs each. The Executive MBA requires graduation with 50% marks plus 3 years’ work experience and fees of INR 12.70 lakhs. The IPM program requires 10+2 with 60% marks and IPMAT + WAT + PI, with fees of INR 17.55 lakhs for the first three years. The Ph.D. program requires a master’s degree and a valid GATE/GRE/GMAT/NET score, while the Executive Ph.D. requires 5+ years of experience and fees of INR 18.50 lakhs. IIM Ranchi Admission Process 2025

Admission to IIM Ranchi is mainly done through the CAT 2025 exam. Students who meet the required cutoff are shortlisted for the JAP (Joint Admissions Process), which includes the Written Ability Test (WAT) and the Personal Interview (PI). IIM Ranchi Cutoff 2025

The minimum CAT percentile requirements for admission vary by category at IIM Ranchi. General category candidates must score at least 75 percentile in VRC, DILR, and QA, with an overall 95th percentile. For the EWS and NC-OBC categories, the sectional cutoffs are 55 and 52 percentiles, respectively, while both require an overall 81 percentile. SC candidates need 45 percentile in each section and an overall 66th percentile, whereas ST and DAP candidates must secure 25 percentile in VRC and DILR, 30 percentile in QA, and 42 percentile overall to be considered for shortlisting.
