Admission: Start at KIIT felt smooth overall. Counselling after KIITEE was organised, verification was systematic despite some crowding, staff support during registration helped, and orientation added clarity.

Academic: The course syllabus here is good and makes us ready for jobs in the industry. About the teachers, most of them are good, qualified, and know their subjects very well. Some teachers are super helpful, which is nice, but a few others are not as much. Also, I gotta say, the semester exams are a bit on the difficult side.

Placement: I'm in my second year right now. I heard that placements are a bit less good this year compared to last year. Only about 50 to 60 percent of CSE students actually get placed. Our CSE batch has around 5000 students in total. With such high course fees, the college needs to boost up the placements.

Campus: Our CSE campus has good facilities, like lifts, AC, proper lighting, and smart boards, making things easy. The campus itself is very beautiful and they keep it super clean. There are so many trees around, which gives a healthy vibe to the whole place. Hostels are also decent here, but one thing is the mess food; they need to increase its quality, especially when it comes to the amount of chicken they serve.

Admission: Movement from application to joining stayed steady. Counselling was scheduled properly, verification was fast with staff help, and registration moved along without stress.

Academic: In semester 2, we have two types of exams. There is a unit exam for 25 marks, and then the final end exam. Our teachers are mostly experienced, but some professors are good, you know, it depends on each person. We also have visiting faculty who come weekly from big industries.

Placement: As a second-year student doing B.Tech in CSE, I've heard good things about placements. Our senior batch gets a 95% placement rate all over India. The highest salary package was around 50 LPA, and the lowest one was about 8 to 9 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, Amazon, Microsoft, and Oracle are among the top ones that come here to recruit.

Campus: Our campus has lots of green areas, which is nice. We even have a swimming pool for both boys and girls, with separate times for each. All the other facilities like the library and sports are top-notch here. For internet, even if the area outside does not have stable connection, the college provides strong Wi-Fi which is good because our course needs basic network facilities. Hostels are available for both AC and non-AC rooms. The food is just average though.

Academic: Our courses here are quite good. Most teachers are very helpful and know their subjects well, and generally, they are very supportive. But then, some teachers, even if they know a lot, just cant teach clearly. Also, a big problem is that some teachers like to cut our internal marks and even semester marks without any real reason. So, it's a mixed bag with teachers, but overall support is there.

Placement: Overall, the placements here are quite good. But listen, the return on investment (ROI) only works out well if you put in a lot of hard work during your college days. Otherwise, a lot of students end up getting very low-paying jobs with those big mass recruiter companies. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA.

Campus: Our college has good infrastructure, for sure. The classrooms and the library are very modern, which is nice. For hostels, overall the facilities are good. Just for first-year students, the wardens are a bit strict, and you have to be back in the hostel quite early. But the mess food is good in like 90% of the hostels.

Admission: Final entry into KIIT felt seamless. Counselling after KIITEE was well managed, verification and registration were simple, staff stayed supportive, and clear communication made joining easy.

Academic: Our teachers are helpful, you know. Many of them actually just retired from top companies worldwide to teach us here, so they bring a lot of real-world experience. The courses we study are very relevant to what's needed today and they help us get good practical knowledge. Even the semester exams are not that hard. If you just study about a week before, you can easily pass, like 90-95% of students do.

Placement: Regarding placements, the T&P cell hasn't officially shared the exact numbers yet. But from my side, I think around 70-75% of students get placed. I'm from the 2028 passing out batch. Companies like High Radius come to recruit, and most of the time, the role offered is SDE. When it comes to internships, it's competitive; only the top 5-7% of students can land one in famous companies.

Campus: In my experience here, the college labs are big and spacious. They have comfy chairs and the latest computers which is great. Our classrooms are also good with decent furniture. The library is super fancy, the most lavish spot actually, with great AC and pretty much all kinds of books you need. The hostel building is very well made too. Medical facilities are quick and for sports, the facilities are excellent. When it comes to food, the general quality is just okay, but the canteen food is actually very good. The only main problem is the Wi-Fi; it doesn't work properly most of the time, so we all depend on our personal mobile data.

Admission: Selection through KIITEE felt well structured. Exam details and results were timely, the online counselling portal worked smoothly, and choice locking was easy. Document verification moved fast, staff helped during registration, and orientation details came promptly.

Academic: Most of our teachers are super experienced and teach in a cool way. We get lots of freedom to do research at KIIT, which is great. Also, KIIT has helped many industries around Bhubaneswar by giving them technology for much less money than they would usually pay, helping them grow. But honestly, I don't understand why C language is still part of our course. About the semester exams, they are moderate, but if you prepare well, you will find them pretty easy.

Placement: Honestly, for the fees we pay, I feel like the return on investment from our college isn't that good. Only about 40-50% of students actually get placed, and the average salary package is just 8 LPA. The main companies that come for recruitment are Deloitte and TCS. They usually offer positions from a software developer to a manager.

Campus: For me, KIIT has the best infrastructure, literally for everything, including classrooms and the library. The hostels here are also good. The mess food is much better than what you usually get in other colleges. Even though the hostel fees are a bit high, the rooms and all the facilities provided make it totally worth the cost.

Admission: Applying to KIIT went without trouble. The online portal was simple to use, instructions for document verification were clear, and updates about counselling and fee submission came on time. Staff support during physical registration made onboarding quick and efficient.

Academic: The faculty here has a very good relationship with students, and their number is also good compared to how many students there are. Our teachers are always ready to help whenever we need them. They are good at clearing doubts in different ways and guide us properly so we don't get confused. Coming to exams, they are usually normal to a bit difficult, especially when it comes to applying what we learned. This helps to test our knowledge deeply. For each semester, we have two main exams: a mid-semester one for 20 marks and an end-semester one for 50 marks. Also, there are practicals and viva which add up to 30 marks.

Placement: In my college, companies for jobs started visiting from the end of the 6th semester itself. We saw many big names like Tata Technologies, Optum, Deloitte, Accenture, Wipro, JSW, AMNS, Maruti Suzuki, Bosch, State Street, GE Healthcare, PWC, TVS, and LTI Mindtree. A great thing is that our college gives 100% placement. For mechanical students, the highest salary package went up to 13 LPA, and the average for core sector was 7 LPA. Even for internships, good companies like Wipro, Genpact, Deloitte, Tata Technologies, and High Radius came, offering a stipend between Rs 15,000 to Rs 25,000 per month.

Campus: At KIIT, the facilities are nice. The hostels have many room types, like 3-bed non-AC, 2-bed non-AC, 2-bed AC, 2-bed AC premium, and 3-bed AC rooms. They also have international hostels for students who come from other countries. Meals in the hostel are tasty, and they keep everything clean. Our library is world-class, with a huge range of books available. For sports, KIIT has awesome facilities with lots of grounds for different games. Also, there are many social groups and clubs run by students themselves.

Admission: Process of joining KIIT felt smooth and reassuring. Registration and counselling were managed well, document verification was quick with staff support, and communication from provisional admission to orientation stayed clear.

Academic: The teachers in my CSE branch are qualified, but honestly, some find it hard to explain the theory well, even though others are quite good at it. I'm in my first semester of CSE right now, and we haven't touched anything about core CSE stuff yet. For exams, they aren't super difficult if you prepare properly. I don't have any idea about the pass percentage of our college.

Placement: As a first-year student, what I can tell about placements is that they're pretty much what you'd expect from an average private college. Last year, someone got a highest package of 53 LPA, and the average salary was around 7 LPA. We mostly see mass recruiters like TCL coming for jobs. Big tech companies like Google, Amazon, or Microsoft, I haven't heard of them hiring students from here.

Campus: At our institute, the infrastructure is quite decent, and the facilities are good overall. We have a proper library, and what's nice is that every hostel also has its own reading room. Sports and games facilities here seem pretty good too. For any medical issues, KIMS is there which is helpful. The mess food is just alright, neither super great nor very bad. The main issue is the Wi-Fi, it's not good at all, with speeds of just 30 to 40 Mbps and frequent disconnections.

Academic: In our college, things move pretty fast as the semesters finish way quicker compared to other places; for example, Semester 1 ended in January and Semester 2 was done by May. Also, the faculty-student ratio here is better, with most classes having around 60 students maximum. The quality of teachers is not always the same, but most are keen to teach us. A lot of the faculty members are very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and they support us a lot. They use both traditional methods and modern teaching aids to explain concepts clearly. Plus, some professors also push us to do research.

Placement: For placements, KIIT is quite good, especially compared to other private colleges. Most students here manage to get placed in at least one company. The average salary package is usually around 5 LPA to 7 LPA, and someone even got a high package of 30 LPA. Big companies like Infosys and TCS come to recruit from here, just like they do at colleges all over India. Students from CS, IT, and electronics branches generally have better luck with placements. You will also get a lot of internship offers sent to your KIIT email ID, but remember, you have to pay for those internships on your own.

Campus: About the hostel rooms here, there are many options. You can choose if you want AC or non-AC, and also pick between 2-sharing or triple-sharing rooms. Campus Wi-Fi is available everywhere, and there's CCTV for safety. Classrooms are quite big and have AC too. Our library has central AC and all the books you would need. Plus, on campus, we have a swimming pool, many grounds, a garden, and stages for different activities.

Admission: Experience of getting admitted to KIIT felt organised and well paced. Application, counselling, and verification followed a clear flow, staff support stood out, and orientation made settling in easy.

Academic: From my experience, the teachers here are super knowledgeable and helpful. They know how to teach well, not just showing PPTs and moving on. They explain things in detail and pay attention to each student. You can ask them academic doubts, and they even give good life advice.

Placement: If you ask me, Computer Science is a super good branch here, it's definitely the future. Talking about placements, they are quite decent, actually better than what you see in other private colleges. Big companies like Adobe, Deloitte, and HighRadius come to recruit lots of students from our campus. The top salary offered was 52 LPA, and the lowest was around 5-6 LPA. But yeah, you gotta focus on yourself and develop good skills to get those opportunities.

Campus: Our college campus is super clean, you seriously won't see any trash anywhere, not even in the corridors, because they have put many dustbins around. Also, our rooms get cleaned every single day which is nice. Wi-Fi here works well all over the campus, so there are no network problems. The central library is open 24/7, so we can study peacefully anytime, and it has lots of books. Plus, there is a big sports complex with many gyms for us.

Admission: Progress through admission at KIIT stayed clear. Communication from application to provisional admission was timely, counselling ran well, verification was quick, and joining felt efficient.

Academic: At KIIT, you get so many options for everything like dancing, singing, playing, or literally anything you want to do. The exam pattern here is pretty standard, much like other colleges, with one mid-term and one end-of-semester exam, plus continuous evaluation each semester. Our faculty is well qualified for a private university setting. Every student gets a personal mentor for guidance and other stuff, but I've found these mentors and teachers become super helpful mainly from the 2nd year onwards. They assist with research and higher studies, and I know this personally since I am doing it myself.

Placement: Placements at KIIT are seriously good, especially compared to other private universities. Last year, I heard someone got a 53 LPA package, that's huge! The average package was around 8 to 10 LPA, which is also decent. Overall, almost 85% of students managed to get jobs across the university. A big plus point is that the number of companies coming for placements keeps growing every year. KIIT also helps students who have ideas to start their own companies, which is cool. But, it's not the same for everyone; most good placements are in branches like CSE and electrical. And yeah, there's a huge crowd here, so competition for jobs is tough.

Campus: KIIT has a big campus, it's like a whole city inside boundaries which feels super fresh for daily life. You'll find tons of street food stalls and vendors around too. There are so many sports grounds here, like 2 to 4 for each, covering football, cricket, hockey, basketball, tennis, and more. Our classrooms are pretty modern, they all have projectors and AC, making them smart classrooms. But for me, the best thing at KIIT is the hostel. They are super premium and kept very well. The mess food changes from hostel to hostel, but most days of the week, the food is quite tasty.
