Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD), a premier B-school located in Mysore, was established in 1993 to provide quality management education based on a firm foundation of Indian values and ethics. SDMIMD is promoted by Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Educational Trust, a much-admired non-profit educational trust that runs over 40 recognised educational institutions in Karnataka, including Engineering, Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, and Naturopathy colleges, under the able leadership of our Chairman, Dr.D.Veerendra Heggade, the trust has played an active role in empowering people and bettering the lives of communities in Southern Karnataka.
In 1994, the institute started its first batch of PGDM programs with 60 students. In 2009, it started a student exchange program with May’s B School, Texas A&M University. SDMIMD Mysore is internationally accredited by ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs), USA, and EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development). It is also a member of AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and BSIS (Business School Impact System).
The institute offers PGDM and Ph.D programs as its main courses. Admissions to these courses are entrance-based. The accepted entrance exams for the PGDM program are CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT, or ATMA. For the Ph.D. program, the accepted entrance exams are NET/KSET/University of Mysore Ph.D. Entrance Exam/UGC-JRF. SDMIMD Mysore achieved a 100% placement rate for the 2023-25 batch. XAT 2026 application form was released on 10 July, 2025. XAT 2026 exam is scheduled on 4 January 2026. Eligible candidates can register themselves via online mode. XLRI Jamshedpur conducts the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) at the University Level. XLRI Jamshedpur organises XAT exam once a year via online (CBT) mode.

XAT 2026 Registration
- XLRI Jamshedpur has released the XAT 2026 application form on July 10, 2025. The registration can be completed only through online mode—no offline option is available.
- To begin, candidates must first create XAT login credentials. The registration process is divided into three stages. Once logged in, applicants should fill in the form with personal, contact, and academic details.
- Candidates must upload correct documents, including a recent photograph and signature, to avoid form rejection.
- In case of errors, a correction window will be provided for making necessary changes.
- The last date to submit the XAT 2026 application form is likely December 5, 2025. After submission, it is advised to download and keep a printout of the form for future reference during the admission process.
- Registration fee of XAT 2026 is the same for all category candidates.
- An online facility is available to submit the fee.
- INR 2,200 is the application fee for all candidates.
