SDMIMD Mysore has been a premier business school in Mysore since 1993. The institute offers its flagship program, PGDM, with 5 specialisations and 2 modular specialisations. The modular specialisations are available in Microfinance and Business Analytics. The course duration is 2 years, split into six terms. After completing the first year, students must join a summer internship. The institute’s PGDM program intake is 240 students.

Applicants with a graduation degree of 50% or above are eligible to apply for the SDMIMD Mysore PGDM program. Additionally, candidates must appear for at least one entrance exam, such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT, or ATMA. The final selection will be based on cumulative academic profile scores, competitive test scores, PI, and WAT.

SDMIMD’s flagship PGDM program is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. Moreover, the course is recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to an MBA.

The XAT 2026 application form was released on 10th July 2025, and the exam is scheduled to be held on 4th January 2026. Eligible candidates can apply exclusively through online mode, as no offline option is available. The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a university-level entrance exam conducted annually by XLRI Jamshedpur in computer-based (CBT) mode.

Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD Mysore) offers a full-time residential PGDM program. The program duration is 2 years and six terms. The first year course content will cover the core courses, and the second year will be the specialisation year. Students can pick one or two electives for specialised programs, as the institute also offers dual specialisation.

• To apply for the SDMIMD PGDM program, candidates must have a graduation degree with at least 50% from a UGC/AIU-recognised university.
• The applications for SDMIMD PGDM will be shortlisted on the basis of applicants’ competitive exam scores.
• The accepted entrance exams for this PGDM program are CAT/ XAT / CMAT / MAT / ATMA / GMAT/ GATE.

• Applicants must also have a consistent academic record of at least 50% aggregate marks in class 10th, 12th, and graduation.

SDMIMD Mysore offers a Ph.D in Management at the doctoral level to both Indian and foreign nationals. The SDMIMD Ph.D program is a full-time residential program with a duration of 4-5 years.

• Candidates must have an MBA degree or any other master’s degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
• Candidates must appear for an entrance exam from NET/KSET/UGC-JRF/University of Mysore - Ph.D Entrance Exam.
• The international applicants must also submit the eligibility certificate provided by the International Center of the University of Mysore, along with the application form.

XAT 2026 Registration

• XLRI Jamshedpur has released the XAT 2026 application form on July 10, 2025. The registration can be completed only through online mode—no offline option is available.
• To begin, candidates must first create XAT login credentials. The registration process is divided into three stages. Once logged in, applicants should fill in the form with personal, contact, and academic details.
• Candidates must upload correct documents, including a recent photograph and signature, to avoid form rejection.
• In case of errors, a correction window will be provided for making necessary changes.
• The last date to submit the XAT 2026 application form is likely December 5, 2025. After submission, it is advised to download and keep a printout of the form for future reference during the admission process.
• Registration fee of XAT 2026 is the same for all category candidates.
• Online facility is available to submit the fee.
• INR 2,200 is the application fee for all candidates.
