The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay provides various scholarships to students for financial stability. DST-INSPIRE Fellowship (Ph.D.) Ph.D. students with top ranks in national-level exams. Based on DST selection INR 31,000/month for first 2 years, INR 35,000/month for next 3 years + INR 20,000 per year contingency grant.
DBT-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) Ph.D. students enrolled in Biotechnology with qualifying DBT scores. Based on DBT selection INR 31,000/month for first 2 years, INR 35,000/month for next 3 years + INR 30,000/year contingency grant.
ICMR Fellowship (Ph.D.) Ph.D. students enrolled in biomedical sciences with the best ICMR scores. Based on ICMR selection INR 31,000/month for first 2 years, INR 35,000 per month for next 3 years + INR 20,000 per year contingency grant.
Forbes Marshall Scholarship (M.Tech.) M.Tech. students with exceptional academic records. Limited slots INR 20,000 per month + tuition fee reimbursement + INR 15,000 for contingencies.
AERB Scholarship (M.Tech.) M.Tech. students enrolled in Nuclear Engineering or related fields. Limited slots INR 35,000 per month + tuition fee reimbursement + INR 5,000 book allowance.
DAE (DGFS) Scholarship (M.Tech.) M.Tech. students selected by the Department of Atomic Energy. Based on DAE selection INR 35,000 per month + tuition fee reimbursement + INR 25,000 contingency + INR 10,000 book allowance.
IITB-Monash Research Academy Scholarship (Ph.D.) Ph.D. students enrolled in the joint IITB-Monash program. Limited slots INR 35,000 per month for the first 2 years, INR 39,000 per month for the next 3 years.
EATON Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Ph.D. Scholarship Ph.D. students in relevant engineering disciplines with excellent academic records. Limited slots INR 30,000 per month for first 2 years, INR 35,000 per month for next 2 years + ₹1.5 lakh for conference related travel cost.
IIT Bombay Heritage Fund Scholarship Same criteria as MCM scholarship. Limited slots Benefits similar to MCM Scholarship.
Dr. Burjor Godrej Scholarship M.Sc. Chemistry students with the top SPI. Limited slots INR 5,000 per month (2 scholarships), INR 2,000 per month (6 scholarships), INR 1,000 per month (10 scholarships).
Aditya Birla Scholarship Top 25% of the batch. Limited slots INR 65,000 per annum.
OPJEMS Scholarship Top 2 students from each batch in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Metallurgical Engineering or top 12 students from any stream. Limited slots NA
NSP Scholarship SC/ST/OBC/Minority students with economically weaker background. Multiple beneficiaries differs by scheme
