The B.Tech Textile Engineering is a comprehensive four-year undergraduate program that prepares candidates for advanced careers in the textile industry. It offers a broad range of subjects and is highly specialized. The BTech Textile Engineering syllabus is arranged to provide both basic engineering and textile-related expertise by imparting the core courses, such as mathematics, physics, with the fundamental concepts of engineering during the first semester to prepare for more specialized subjects.

At the end of the course, the candidates also study areas that are advanced and broadly related to textile engineering, such as fibre science, yarn and fabric manufacturing, textile chemical processing, and textile testing. The candidates learn these concepts not only through theoretical concepts but also through practicals.

The curriculum also includes departmental or professional elective subjects such as environmental science, engineering mechanics, and computer science to keep up with the versatile needs of the textile industry. Students can choose their electives, participate in industrial training, and complete major projects during the later semesters, which enhances their creativity.
