BTech Textile Engineering Admission Process 2025

The admission process for BTech in Textile Engineering is almost similar in colleges, only a few things may differ depending on the intake examinations. For reference, the admission process for BTech in Textile Engineering course at NIT Jalandhar has been mentioned below:

 

Step 1: The candidates would first need to register for JEE-Main and later sit for the examination. Once the results are announced, the candidate will receive an All India Rank (AIR) based on their performance. This rank will be used for admission into NITs and other institutes offering Textile Engineering through JoSAA counselling.

 

Step 2: The applicants would need to download the admit card and sit for JEE Main at the designated centers.

 

Step 3: The results will be updated on the JEE Main web portal. The category-wise All-India Ranks (AIR) will be shown and the test messages will be communicated to the candidates on their registered mobile numbers.

 

Step 4: The candidates who have passed the minimum cutoff will need to register for JoSAA counseling. In the counseling session, the student has to select the college and branch they want to apply for, such as BTech in Textile Engineering.

 

Step 5: The seat will be allotted to the candidates on a first-come-first-served basis depending on the availability of the seats. After the seat is allotted, the candidates will need to confirm their admission by paying their admission fees.
