MBA IB Eligibility Criteria

The following eligibility criteria must be met by candidates who are seeking admission to the MBA International Business course:

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised university.
  • Graduated with at least 60% aggregate (55% for reserved category candidates like SC/ST).
  • A valid score in any of the national or institutional-level entrance exams like CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT, CMAT, and others.
  • Some institutes may prefer or require work experience, but for most, such experience is not obligatory.
  • Final-year UG students may apply if they submit a provisional certificate or a no-objection certificate from their college.
  • There is no higher age limit for admission.
  • Shortlisted candidates may, as part of the final selection process, be required to clear group discussions and/or personal interviews.

MBA IB Entrance Exams 2025

Entrance exams for MBA International Business include national-level tests, like CAT, XAT, NMAT, MAT, SNAP, and CMAT. MBA IB Admission Process

A valid entrance exam score is a must for admission to the International Business MBA. For reference, the admission process of FMS Delhi is mentioned below:

  1. Complete the online application form on the FSM admissions portal by uploading the relevant documents, specifying PGDM International Business as the program of interest, and paying the application fee.
  2. The candidates are short-listed according to CAT/XAT/GMAT scores and may also be assessed for their academic performance and work experience at this stage.
  3. The candidates will be invited for an extempore and personal interview to assess them primarily on the parameters of communication skills, subject knowledge, and compatibility with the program.
  4. The final selection would involve scores from entrance exam marks, extempore, PI, academic record, and work experience (if any).
  5. Admission offers are extended to the shortlisted candidates who confirm their seat by paying the programme fee in the initial amount within the prescribed date.
