How to Register for Assam HSLC Exam 2026?
Authorised Schools will handle the entire Assam HSLC Exam 2026 Registration process. There will be two ways for the form fill-up process:
- Online registration for the candidates who have their Class 9 Registration done between 2015 and 2024.
- Offline registration for the candidates who have their Class 9 Registration done before 2015.

Assam HSLC Exam 2026 Online Registration is done for students whose Class 9 registration was done between 2015 and 2024. The schools manage the entire process. Schools follow the steps given below to register all the eligible students for the board exam:
- Schools visit the official SEBA website.
- The user clicks on the link named ‘HSLC Examination, 2026 - Form Fill-up’.
- The user is then redirected to the SEBA registration portal.
- There is a separate section for ‘School Login’.
- All the required credentials provided by the board are submitted in the login portal.
- Then, the students are registered one by one under the “Exam Enrollment Available Through Pre-populated Database” link.
- After submitting the details of each candidate individually, schools then submit the bank account details of each candidate.
- After the confirmation of all the submitted details, schools make the payment, and the registration is completed.
During the registration process, schools are asked to confirm the category of the students, whether the student is:
- Above Poverty Line (APL)
- Below Poverty Line (BPL)
- Person with Disability (PwD)
Students need to note that those whose family income is less than INR 200,000 are treated as BPL. Schools are required to have all the details and documents of the BPL students. BPL students registered in the years 2023 and 2024 are exempted from the HSLC Examination Fees. Also, all the PwD students are exempted from the registration fee as well.

Assam HSLC Exam 2026 Offline Registration is done for students whose Class 9 registration was done before 2015. Their application forms are submitted manually at the Regional Office of ASSEB, Div-I (erstwhile SEBA).
