According to the latest schedule, mock choice filling was live from July 18 to July 20, and the mock allotment results and cutoffs were published on July 22, 2025. Following that, the Round 1 choice editing window closed on July 24, and the Round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on July 28, 2025. At the same time, the Round 2 Phase 1 (KKR category) choice editing window is live, marking the transition to the next round of seat distribution.

COMEDK Counselling 2025: Overview

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka conducted a fully online, multi-round counselling for COMEDK UGET 2025 qualifiers. Registration opened on June 9 and was extended through June 30, 2025 (INR 2,000 fee).

 

Candidates submitted and had their documents verified online by July 12, 2025, before participating in mock and live choice-filling sessions.

 

Provisional and final seat allotments were then distributed around 20,000 seats across approximately 150 engineering and 24 architecture colleges based on COMEDK UGET and NATA ranks.

 

Finally, allotted candidates completed fee payment and physically reported to their colleges by the deadlines specified in the official schedule.

COMEDK Counselling 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to join COMEDK Counselling 2025, candidates need to fulfil specific eligibility requirements such as passing the respective entrance test, minimum educational qualification with specified marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English, regardless of domicile.

 

Qualified Entrance Exam:

  • For Engineering: Must have qualified COMEDK UGET 2025.
  • For Architecture: Must have a valid NATA 2025 score.

Educational Qualification:

  • Passed Class 12 (2nd PUC or equivalent) with Physics and Mathematics as the mandatory subjects and Chemistry/ Biotechnology /Biology /Computer Science/ Electronics as a mandatory subject of choice.

Minimum Marks Requirement:

  • At least 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) for General candidates.
  • 40% aggregate marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates of Karnataka.
  • English must have been studied as one of the languages in Class 12.

Domicile Requirement:

  • Karnataka domicile is not required to appear for COMEDK counselling. Candidates from all over India are eligible.

These conditions are by AICTE and COA norms for Engineering and Architecture admissions, respectively.

 

COMEDK Counselling 2025 Process

The COMEDK Counselling 2025 is an online admission process for Architecture and Engineering courses in the member colleges. Qualified students must complete all steps of the procedure within the specified schedule to secure a seat.

 

1. Registration and Document Upload:Candidates must visit comedk.org, log in with their credentials, and submit personal and educational details. Required documents like Class 10 & 12 marksheets, photo ID, and COMEDK/NATA scorecards must be uploaded in specified formats.

5. Fee Payment and Seat Acceptance:Candidates who have accepted a seat are required to pay the prescribed fee online via net banking, UPI, or card. Non-payment within the specified timeframe will result in seat cancellation.

 

6. Reporting to Allotted College:Selected candidates are required to report to the assigned college with original documents for verification and undergo institute-level admission processes.

 

7. Surrender/Withdrawal:Applicants who are willing to relinquish their seat are allowed to do so during the notified period. Refunds, when due, will be processed in accordance with COMEDK policy.
