The CSIR NET Result 2026 was published by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the June session on August 29, 2026, following the evaluation of candidates' responses. The CSIR NET June 2026 cutoff marks are expected to be released soon and will help candidates determine their qualifying status across different subjects and categories. On the same date, August 29, 2026, NTA also released the CSIR NET June 2026 Final Answer Key, containing the finalised answers used for evaluating candidates' responses and preparing the result. Earlier, the provisional answer key was released on August 16, 2026, along with the question papers and individual recorded responses. Candidates could compare their marked responses with the provisional answers, review the Question IDs and Correct Option(s), and estimate their expected performance before the final answer key and result were announced. The examination was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode on July 17 and 18, 2026, across five subjects.

 

NTA had also opened the answer key challenge window from August 16 to August 18, 2026, by 11:00 PM. Candidates who find an error in a provisional answer can submit an objection online by paying a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 200 per question, with payment accepted through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Supporting documents must be uploaded along with the challenge, and the facility is available only once, so candidates should review their claims carefully before making the payment. After the challenge period is over, objections will be examined by subject experts, and any accepted corrections will be implemented into the Final Answer Key, which will be used to prepare the CSIR NET June Result 2026
