The MICA authorities released the MICAT 2025 syllabus pdf online mode along with the official brochure at the university’s website - mica.ac.in. According to the syllabus of MICAT 2025, all the sections and topics will be covered in the exam. MICAT Syllabus 2025: Marking Scheme and Types of Questions
MICAT exam will include both objective and descriptive questions. As per the exam pattern of MICAT 2025, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer in the following sections: Verbal Ability (VA), General Awareness (GA), Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation (QADI), as well as Divergent and Convergent Thinking (DCR). The psychometric section and descriptive section will not be subject to negative marking.
MICAT 2025 Syllabus: Psychometric Test
This is essentially a personality test and this section is different from other management entrance examinations. Every candidate must attempt all the questions in this section. The following are some important aspects of the test.
- The questions in this section are intended to evaluate the candidates' behaviour, including their thinking abilities, personality traits, strengths, and weaknesses. They are based on career goals, life goals, and situational judgment. Applicants should answer these questions honestly and openly.
- Multiple-choice questions are asked.
- Duration allotted for the psychometric test is 30 minutes.
- According to sample papers from previous years, in the first set of questions candidates should select the option which best describes their behaviour out of three options.
- In the second set of MICAT questions, candidates were asked to rate their answers according to their priority under a certain scenario, on a scale of 1 to 6.
- Around 8 to 10 questions were asked in the entrance exam.
