MICA authorities release the MICAT 2026 syllabus PDF in online mode along with the official brochure at the university’s website, mica.ac.in. MICAT Syllabus 2026: Marking Scheme
MICAT exam will include both objective and descriptive questions. As per the exam pattern of MICAT 2026, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer in the following sections: Verbal Ability (VA), General Awareness (GA), Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation (QADI), as well as Divergent and Convergent Thinking (DCR). The psychometric section and descriptive section will not be subject to negative marking.
MICAT 2026 Syllabus: Psychometric Test
This is essentially a personality test, and this section is different from other management entrance examinations. Every candidate must attempt all the questions in this section. The following are some important aspects of the test.
- The questions in this section are intended to evaluate the candidates' behaviour, including their thinking abilities, personality traits, strengths, and weaknesses. They are based on career goals, life goals, and situational judgment. Applicants should answer these questions honestly and openly.
- Multiple-choice questions are asked.
- The duration allotted for the psychometric test is 30 minutes.
