MICAT 2026 Registration Phase 1 (Ongoing), Dates (Out), Apply Online, Admission Process

MICAT 2026 Registration: The Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad (MICA) has started the MICAT 2026 registration for Phase I. Candidates can apply through online mode at the official website of MICA. The MICAT I registration window is open till November 20, 2025, while the MICAT II registration will begin on November 25, 2025, and continue till January 29, 2026. MICAT is conducted in two phases every year for admission to PGDM and PGDM-Communications programs. Candidates with a valid CAT, XAT, or GMAT score can also apply. Applicants must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the form. MICAT 2026 Exam Dates have been announced, and Phase I and Phase II exams will be conducted on December 6, 2025, and February 13, 2026, respectively.

To complete the MICAT 2026 application, candidates need to enter their personal, academic, and work experience details, upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature in the specified format, and pay the registration fee online. Once the payment is completed, the application form will be considered successfully submitted. After the registration window closes, candidates will be able to download their admit cards for the respective exam phase. Students must note that to be eligible for MICAT 2026, applicants must have a valid score in at least one of the following exams: CAT 2025, XAT 2026, or GMAT taken from 2024 onwards. MICAT Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to take the MICAT 2026. MICAT Eligibility Criteria 2026 defines all parameters, such as the qualifying marks they must have obtained in their graduation, the entrance exam they must pass in order to appear for MICAT, and the age restriction.

MICAT 2026 Qualifying Score

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) or equivalent examination in any discipline, which should be recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Candidates in the final year of their graduation can also sit for the exam.

MICAT 2026 Qualifying Entrance Exam

Candidates who wish to apply for MICAT should have also appeared in at least one of the three exams given below: CAT 2025, XAT 2026, GMAT (2024 onwards)

MICAT 2026 Age Limit

As per the MICAT 2026 eligibility criteria, there is no age bar for candidates appearing in the online entrance exam.

How to Fill MICAT Application Form 2026?

Candidates can fill out the MICAT 2026 application form by following the steps outlined below.

Step 1: Registration

New candidates must first visit MICA's official website and then click on the "New Registration" tab. Read the pop-up about the browser version and then click 'Close.' Fill in the blanks with the following information:

• Name of candidates
• Mobile number
• Email Address
• Captcha
• Submit the Registration Form

For Already Registered candidates

• Enter MICA ID and Password (sent to registered email ID)
• Click on ‘Go to Application Form.’

Step 2: Fill Personal Details

Candidates must enter the following information in this section of the MICAT 2026 application form:

• Enter other personal details
• Enter all required fields, such as date of birth, nationality, and gender. Correspondence Address.
• Permanent Residential Address
• Contact Details
• Select MICAT 2026 exam centres: Candidates have to select at least three exam centres in order of preference for the entrance exam, GD & PI from the list of MICAT 2026 exam centres.
• Other Details

After entering all of their information, candidates must click the 'Save & Continue' button.

Step 3: Qualification Details

Candidates must fill out the educational details for Class X, XII, graduation, and postgraduation in this section of the MICAT 2026 application form (if applicable)

• Percentage,
• Name of the college/institute,
• Board of the affiliated institute
• Year of passing,
• Address of the school or institute

Candidates must also include all relevant work experience information, such as the name of the organisation, designation, nature of work, duration, and so on.

Step 4: CAT/XAT/GMAT Details

Candidates must choose one of the three exams, CAT, XAT, or GMAT, whose score they want MICA to consider.

Step 5: Uploading of Scanned Documents

Candidates must upload scanned documents in accordance with the specifications outlined in the table above.

Step 6: Payment of Fee

Candidates must now pay an application fee for the MICAT 2026 application form. Candidates must pay INR 2100 for the MICAT 2026 application form. The application fee can be paid in one of the following ways: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net banking, or Demand Draft. Candidates can also make the payment via Demand Draft (DD). The demand draft should be drawn in favour of MICA, payable at Ahmedabad via Blue Dart courier.

After filling out and signing the payment advice form, candidates must send it along with the Demand Draft (DD). The printout of the payment advice form, along with the Demand Draft (DD), must be sent to MICA at the following address: Admissions Office, MICA, Shela, Ahmedabad, 380 058, India Phone: 02717-308250/ 308313.

Step 7: Submit MICAT Application Form 2026

After submitting the MICAT 2026 application form, print a copy of it for future reference.

NOTE: Candidates can make changes to their MICA ID and password, which are sent to their registered email address, by logging in with their MICA ID and password.

What is After MICAT Registration 2026?

After the closure of the MICAT 2026 registration process, the authority will issue the admit card. The MICAT 2026 Admit Card for phases 1 and 2 will be issued in December 03 to 06, 2025 and February 10 to 13, 2026, respectively. Candidates will be required to bring their MICAT admit card or hall ticket to the examination centre. To download the MICAT phase hall ticket, candidates must go to the website and enter their login information. The admit card for MICAT includes all important information, such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam date, centre, time, and all important instructions.
