MICAT Marking Scheme 2026

There are three sections in the MICAT exam. All three divisions have an indifferent marking scheme and pattern. All sections of MICAT have no negative marking.

  • Section A: The Psychometric Test is a merit test and has no negative marking.

  • Section B: It is a descriptive test and has no negative marking.

  • Section C: Negative marking of 0.25 marks prevails in this section. 0.25 marks will be deducted for candidates marking the wrong answer in the third section.
