MICA Ahmedabad has announced the MICAT 2025 phase 2 result on February 14. Candidates can download the MICAT exam 2025 phase 2 scorecard in online mode at mica.ac.in. Candidates seeking PGDM-C/PGDM admission in MICA must appear for the MICAT entrance exam and have a valid score in CAT/XAT/GMAT. The GE&PI is scheduled to be held from February 28 to March 23. The final result of MICAT 2025 will be announced on or before April 15, 2025. MICA Admission Test (MICAT) is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted for MICA's PGP courses, including Post Graduate Diploma in Management–Communications (PGDM-C) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). The MICAT exam is conducted twice a year in 48 cities across the country. The MICAT exam is a collection of objective and subjective questions in various sections. The examination consists of three sections, namely: 

  • Section A: Psychometric Test 
  • Section B: Descriptive Test 
  • Section C: Divergent and Convergent Thinking; Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, and General Awareness. 

MICA conducts the MICAT examination in two phases, namely MICAT I and MICAT II. A better score of the two MICAT scores is considered. Admission to MICA takes place through a single-tier filtering process: CAT/XAT/GMAT performance; performance in the MICAT exam; and performance in GE and PI. The final composite score will be generated based on the following weightage: 

  • CAT/XAT/GMAT: 35% 
  • MICAT: 25% 
  • GE: 10% 
  • PI: 20%

MICAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria for the MICAT 2025 entrance exam has been set by MICA, the conducting body. Thus, candidates are advised to check the MICAT eligibility criteria 2025 before they sit down to fill out the application form. Qualifying Entrance Exam for MICAT Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must have a valid score in any of the following mentioned entrance exams as per the MICAT 2025 eligibility criteria:

  • GMAT (score of GMAT exam will be considered from the year 2022 onwards) 
  • CAT (the CAT score will be considered for MICAT eligibility from 2023) XAT (the score for XAT in MICAT admission will be considered from 2025)

MICAT Eligibility Criteria 2025: Qualifying Score 

  • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any field of study. 
  • They must have completed a bachelor’s degree from any university recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). 
  • Students who are still in the final year of high school can also apply for the MICAT exam. 
  • He/she must have completed at least 15 years of education in the 10+2+3 format.

MICAT Age Limit Eligibility 2025 

As per the official website of MICAT, there is no age limit for candidates to apply for the MICA Admission Test (MICAT). 

MICAT 2025 Application Process 

MICA began the MICAT 2025 registration process for phase 2 in online mode. Candidates can fill out and submit the phase 2 MICAT 2025 application form by visiting the official website, mica.ac.in by January 11, 2025. After filling out the MICAT exam 2025 application form, candidates of all categories have to pay a fee of Rs. 2100. The MICAT application fee can be paid via debit card, credit card, or demand draft.

How to Fill MICAT Exam Form 2025?

Check out the below steps to fill out the MICAT exam 2024 registration form. 

Step 1: Registration for MICAT: First, Candidates have to register by using their valid email address and password. 

Step 2: Fill an application form of MICAT 2025: After registration, candidates have to fill all the information, such as personal details, academic details, and work experience (if any) and select at least three preferred exam centres from the list available. Candidates have to select the city where they would like to present for the group exercise and personal interview. 

Step 3: Exam selection: Candidates should select the test in which they have appeared: CAT/ XAT/ GMAT 

Step 4: Upload Photo and Signature: Candidates have to upload their scanned photograph and signature with a file size not more than 80 KB and in jpg or jpeg format.

MICAT 2025 Result

MICA announced the MICAT exam 2025 result for phase 1 on December 20 and for phase 2, the MICAT 2025 result has been declared on February 14, 2025. MICAT 2025 Cutoff 

The minimum marks that candidates need to be considered eligible for the next round of selection is defined as MICAT 2025 cutoff. MICA takes the following factors into consideration while preparing the MICAT 2025 cutoff.

  • Previous years’ MICAT cutoff trends 
  • Difficulty level of the exam 

MICA has not announced any cutoff in terms of relative marks for candidates to gauge. However, past-year cutoffs have been used to estimate the expected MICAT cutoff

MICAT Selection Procedure 2025 

Candidates who qualify for the entrance test will have to appear for General Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. During GE and PI, candidates need to demonstrate their ability to conceive and express ideas that can be translated into workable action plans and help a given business in a concrete and meaningful way. The GE and PI is a test conducted to know how candidates will solve a real-world problem with real-life consequences. The MICAT selection process is divided into 3 stages: 

  • Qualifying CAT/XAT/GMAT 
  • MICA Admission Test (MICAT) 
  • GE and PI

MICAT Admission Procedure 2025

Step 1. CAT/XAT/GMAT - Candidates have to pass and secure at least a particular minimum score in one of these three exams to be considered eligible for admission at MICA. While filling the MICAT application form, candidates will have to enter either their CAT or GMAT score or their XAT registration number in the form. 

Step 2. MICA Admission Test (MICAT) - Here, candidates have to appear for the MICAT exam held by MICA Ahmedabad. The MICA admission test will be divided into the following sections: 

  • Section A: Psychometric Test 
  • Section B: (has 4 sub-sections) - Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, General awareness; Divergent and Convergent Thinking 
  • Section C: Descriptive Test 

Step 3. Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) - After passing the entrance exam, candidates will be invited to take part in the Group Exercise and Personal Interview.

Shortlisting of Candidates for GE and PI 

  • Section A of MICAT (Psychometric test) is a qualifier. 
  • The institute will only consider those candidate’s performance on CAT/XAT/GMAT who have qualified the psychometric test. For CAT/XAT, the minimum cut off will be taken into consideration, whereas for GMAT, the institute will take the scores into account. 
  • Section B of MICAT exam will be assessed based on the candidate’s performance in the CAT/XAT/GMAT. 
  • Those candidates who pass based on the relative performance subject to securing a minimum cut-off (normalized scores)) of Section B of the MICAT entrance exam 2025 shall have their Section C of MICAT Assessed. The institute will release the cut off for each section of the test. 
  • Those candidates who qualify based on points 1, 2, 3 and 4 above (based on relative performance subject to a minimum cutoff (as per normalized scores) of section C of MICAT) will be shortlisted for GE and PI. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to GE and PI at the different campuses - Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata & Mumbai. (The GE & PI candidate list is prepared based on the composite score formula of 20% weightage of CAT/XAT/GMAT and 30% weightage of MICAT scores).

MICAT 2025 Final Merit List Preparation 

The institute will release the MICAT final merit list 2025 online mode. Shortlisted candidates (who participate in GE and PI) who are mentioned in the final merit list have to be recommended by the majority of the PI panellists. Further, MICA will prepare the final composite score on the basis of the following weightage scheme:
