SSC Selection Post Latest news and articles
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has not announced the Phase 14 result date yet. The Computer Based Examination (CBE) was held from 16 to 26 September 2026, and the tentative answer key challenge window closed on 12 October 2026. Based on the gaps between the exam and the result in the last two phases, the result could come between the end of November 2026 and early March 2027; this is an estimate, not an SSC date.
When it is declared, SSC will publish the result separately for Matriculation, Higher Secondary (10+2) and Graduation & Above level posts on ssc.gov.in, as a list of shortlisted candidates and a result notice (write-up) with post-wise cutoffs. Marks are not disclosed at the result stage.
Latest Update: The Phase 14 tentative answer keys were released on 9 October 2026, and challenges were accepted until 12 October 2026 (4:00 PM). The result is the next step; SSC has not announced its date.

What Happens After the SSC Selection Post Phase 14 Result
Based on the Phase 13 process, shortlisted candidates go through these stages:
| Stage | What happens (Phase 13 write-up) |
| 1. Online document upload | Shortlisted candidates upload self-attested copies of documents for educational qualification, experience, category, age and age relaxation on ssc.gov.in. In Phase 13 the window was 11 February (11:00 AM) to 3 March 2026 (11:00 PM). |
| 2. Scrutiny | The User Department or SSC Regional Office checks the uploaded documents |
| 3. Skill Test | Held only for posts that prescribe one, from candidates cleared at scrutiny |
| 4. Document Verification (DV) | Candidates cleared at scrutiny are called by the Regional Office or User Department that owns the post |
| 5. Final selection | Based on merit, scrutiny, skill test (where applicable) and DV |
Important rules from the write-up:
- Candidates who do not upload documents for a post category are not considered further for that post. The upload link is disabled after the deadline, and no other mode is accepted.
- Candidates who qualify for more than one post category must upload documents separately for each post, even if the same certificate was already uploaded.
- For help with the upload, SSC’s toll-free helpline is 1800 309 3063.
- Marks are not disclosed at the result stage, and the candidature of shortlisted candidates is provisional.
How to Upload Documents After the Result

- Under My Applications, open the Selection Posts Examination tab and click Upload Documents.
- Upload the general documents (other than educational qualification and experience) and click Save and Next.
