UPESEAT 2025 Application Process has concluded. The last date to submit the application form was April 30, 2025. Phase 1 of the UPESEAT 2025 Exam concluded on May 4, 2025. UPES will conduct Phase 2 exam in the first week of June 2025 and Phase 3 in the second week of July 2025.
Candidates were required to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the phase 1 exam. Candidates who have already applied for CUET 2025 or JEE Main 2025 did not need to fill out ap.
The entire application process is online. UPES has also reduced the application fee for this year. The application processing fee for PUCAT is ₹1750 per course. If you wish to apply for more than one class, then the application fee is ₹1750 for each class that you apply for.

UPESEAT Application 2025: Dates

How to Apply for UPSEAT 2025?
1. Account Creation
- Visit the UPES application portal.
- Click on “Apply Now”.
- Fill in your name, email ID, phone number, and create a password.
- Verify your email via OTP.
2. Filling Out the Application Form
- Enter personal details: name, DOB, gender, etc.
- Enter academic details: class 10th and 12th marks, board name, year of passing.
- Select your preferred engineering program and admission route (UPESEAT/JEE/Board/SAT).
3. Uploading Documents
Required documents:
- Passport-size photograph (in JPG/JPEG format, <100 KB)
- Scanned signature
- Valid ID proof (Aadhaar, Passport, etc.)
4. Payment Process
- Pay the application fee using your preferred mode.
- On successful payment, download the payment receipt.
UPSEAT Admit Card 2025
UPESEAT Admit Card 2025 was available till the exam date for phase 1 exam.. UPESEAT 2025 Phase 1 exam concluded on May 4. Phase 2 exam dates will be announced soon. Before the phase 2 exam, candidates will be issued UPSEAT Admit Card 2025 .

UPESEAT 2025 Application Process FAQs
Can I apply through UPESEAT 2025 as well as JEE Main 2025?
Yes, you can apply for both exams. However, candidates who have already cleared JEE Main 2025 cutoff do not need to apply for UPSEAT 2025 exams. B.Tech or B.E candidates who opted for JEE Mains will be shortlisted based on their JEE MIn score.
Is there a provision to alter my programme preference once the choice(s) have been entered and submitted?
No, the edits cannot be made once the examination centre is allocated. UPES does not provide any correction facility.
Can the UPES 2025 Application fee be refunded?
The fee, once paid, is non-refundable.
What to do if I have made a mistake in the UPES 2025 Application Form, after submission of the form?
UPES admission team can check the application, and there are no significant faults. You may write to the UPES admission office to correct minor errors like printing mistakes (spelling errors, etc) with valid proof. However, after submission, there is no guarantee. Always double-check before you click “Submit.”
Can I edit the UPESEAT 2025 application now, after the payment, but before the final submission?
Yes, you can edit your form until you finally submit it. Edits, once submitted, are typically not permitted.
Do I need to take UPESEAT 2025, or can I take admission through JEE Main or Board Merit?
It is not mandatory. There are multiple paths to getting admitted into UPES. You can appear for UPESEAT, avail yourself of your score in JEE Main, or avail yourself of a board merit. But UPESEAT is for those who have not done well in the board exams or JEE.
How many exam centres are there for UPESEAT 2025?
UPESEAT is usually conducted as an online proctored exam so that students can write the exam from home. If it gets changed and offline centres are introduced, the list will be announced on the official website.
Can overseas students apply for UPESEAT 2025?
Overseas applicants can apply with SAT/another equivalent international score. Re-citizenship applicants must also pay the international fee (75 USD) and submit a passport and academic credentials.
Is there any quota for the Uttarakhand state Board students for UPESEAT 2025?
Yes. 15% of seats are reserved for Uttarakhand Board students who fulfil certain conditions and apply under the Uttarakhand Resident Quota.
Can I apply to more than one engineering branch through UPESEAT 2025 ?
Yes, you can mention more than one preference in the application. The exact branch allocation is based on the merit list and the availability at the time of counselling.
