UPESEAT 2026 Exam Pattern: Offline Mode
The UPESEAT exam pattern for the offline mode (Candidates who take the exam by visiting the centre) is slightly different from the online one. The UPSEAT Offline exam pattern comprises five sections, namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language & Comprehension, and Current Affairs. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics sections contain 50 questions each. On the other hand, 30 questions are asked from English Language & Comprehension and 20 questions from Current Affairs. The UPES 2026 marking scheme is straightforward. Candidates receive +1 mark for every correct answer, and there is no negative marking for incorrect responses. The total marks for the exam differ by mode: 125 marks for the online exam and 200 marks for the offline exam. The detailed UPSEAT marking scheme for engineering admissions is outlined below.
