Candidates can check their WBJEE 2025 result online through the official website. The result will be available as a downloadable rank card of WBJEE 2025. Follow the steps below to access the result:

1. Visit the official WBJEE website: wbjeeb.nic.in.
2. Click on the link that says "WBJEE 2025 Result."
3. Enter the WBJEE application number and date of birth in the login section.
4. Click on the ‘Sign In’ button.
5. The WBJEE 2025 Result will appear on the screen.
6. Download the rank card and save it on your device.
7. Take a printout of the rank card for counselling and admission purposes.

WBJEE 2025 Merit List

WBJEEB will release the WBJEE 2025 Merit List based on the subjects chosen by the candidates and the marks they score. There are separate merit lists for engineering and pharmacy courses.

• The General Merit List (GMR) is used for admission to engineering, technology, architecture, and the pharmacy course at Jadavpur University. It is based on the total marks scored in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
• The Pharmacy Merit List (PMR) is for pharmacy courses (excluding Jadavpur University) and is based only on the marks scored in Physics and Chemistry.
• Both lists are arranged in descending order of scores. If two or more students get the same marks, a tie-breaking rule will be used.
• Reserved category ranks like SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD, and TFW will also be shown separately, but seat allotment will be based on the GMR or PMR, whichever is applicable.
• Only candidates listed in the merit list can take part in WBJEE counselling and seat allotment. They must register and choose their preferred colleges and courses.

WBJEE 2025 Marks is the overall marks secured by candidates in the WBJEE Entrance Examination. Whereas, WBJEE 2025 Ranks is the position or rank secured by candidates based on their WBJEE Scores. The WBJEE 2025 marks vs ranks help candidates predict their possible ranks based on their exam scores. By checking previous years’ cut-offs, students can estimate their expected ranks. This idea helps students plan for the counselling process in advance. It also helps them select preferred colleges and courses wisely. Tie-Breaking Rules for WBJEE Result 2025

If two or more students get the same total marks in WBJEE 2025, the authorities will follow a set of tie-breaking rules in a fixed order. These steps are included in the Tie-Breaking Rules of WBJEE Result 2025 and help decide who should get the higher rank.

1. Fewer Negative Marks in All Subjects: The student with fewer total negative marks in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry will be ranked higher.
2. Higher Positive Marks in Maths and Physics: If the tie remains, the one with more total positive marks in Maths and Physics gets the higher rank.
3. Higher Positive Marks in Maths and Chemistry: If still tied, the student with more positive marks in Maths and Chemistry is placed higher.
4. Fewer Negative Marks in Maths and Physics: Next, the candidate with fewer negative marks in Maths and Physics will be given preference.
5. Fewer Negative Marks in Maths and Chemistry: If the tie continues, the one with fewer negative marks in Maths and Chemistry will be ranked better.
6. More Positive Marks in 2-Mark Maths Questions: The student scoring higher in the 2-mark questions of Maths will get the advantage.
7. More Positive Marks in 2-Mark Physics Questions: If still tied, the one with more marks in the 2-mark Physics questions will rank higher.
8. More Positive Marks in 2-Mark Chemistry Questions: If the tie is not yet broken, more marks in Chemistry 2-mark questions will be considered.
9. Fewer Negative Marks in 2-Mark Maths Questions: Next, the candidate with fewer negative marks in the 2-mark Maths questions will be ranked better.
10. Fewer Negative Marks in 2-Mark Physics Questions: If the tie continues, the one with fewer negative marks in Physics 2-mark questions gets the advantage.
11. Fewer Negative Marks in 2-Mark Chemistry Questions: Still tied? Then the student with fewer negative marks in Chemistry 2-mark questions will be placed higher.
12. Older Age Preference: If the tie still remains after all the above rules, the older candidate (by date of birth) will get the higher rank.
