The XAT registration 2027 started on July 15, 2026. Candidates can apply for the exam until December 6, 2026. The application form is available on the official website at xatonline.in. Candidates must complete the registration process, fill in their peINRonal, academic and work experience details, select their preferred XLRI programme, choose test cities, upload their photograph and signature, and pay the application fee to complete the process. The XAT application fee is INR 2,300 for all candidates.
XAT exam 2027 will be conducted on January 3, 2027.

How to Fill XAT Application Form 2027?
XAT registration form 2027 is available on the official website i.e. xatonline.in. Candidates can follow these steps to complete the XAT 2027 application form:

| Step 1: Save the Application Form | Candidates who are unable to complete the XAT application form in one go can save the information entered using the “SAVE AND NEXT” option. Candidates should use this facility to review the details and make any required changes before final submission. |
| Step 2: Verify the Application Details | Candidates should carefully fill in and verify all the details entered in the online application form. Changes are not permitted after clicking the “FINAL SUBMIT” button. |
| Step 3: Enter Details as per Official Documents | The candidate's name and the names of the father and mother should be entered exactly as they appear on the certificates, mark sheets or identity proof. Any change or alteration may lead to disqualification. |
| Step 4: Enter Academic and Work Experience Details | Candidates can enter their academic qualifications and work experience details in the XAT application form. |
| Step 5: Select XLRI Programme Preference | Candidates who wish to apply for an XLRI programme can select their preferred programme in the application form. The programme can be selected based on whether the candidate is applying through XAT or GMAT. |
| Step 6: Select Test City Preferences | Candidates can select up to six preferred XAT test cities while filling out the application form. Candidates are advised to select a test city close to their place of residence. However, the final authority for allotting the test city rests with the XAT authorities. |

XAT Application Fee 2027
Along with the application form, candidates will also need to pay an application fee. The XAT registration fee is INR 2,300. Candidates applying to XLRI programmes have to pay an additional INR 200 for each programme. There are also separate fee for candidates applying through GMAT/ GRE and for NRI/ Foreign/ PIO/ OCI candidates.

- After making the payment, candidates should wait for confirmation from the server and not press the back or refresh button, as this may result in duplicate payment.
- A successful transaction generates an e-Receipt. If an e-Receipt is not generated, the payment may not have been successful.
- Candidates should save or print the e-Receipt and completed application form for their records.

How can candidates confirm that XAT registration was successful?
After clicking the Register button, a confirmation message will appear on the screen indicating that a verification email has been sent to the registered email address. Candidates must verify their email using the link provided in the email. Login credentials will be sent after successful verification.
What should candidates do if they do not receive the XAT registration confirmation email?
FiINRt, candidates should check the spam, junk or bulk-mail folder of their registered email account. Delivery may be affected by the email address provided, mobile number or restrictions imposed by the email service provider. If the email is still not received, candidates can raise a query through the “Any Query? Ask Us” option available on the dashboard.
What should I do if I forget my XAT login password?
Candidates can recover their password by visiting the official XAT website and selecting Login and then Forgot Password. They can then follow the instructions provided to reset their password.
Can I save the XAT application form and complete it later?
Yes. Candidates who are unable to complete the application in one session can save the information entered and continue the application later by logging into their account.
Can I edit my XAT application form after submitting it?
Candidates should carefully review all information before final submission. Changes are not permitted after the application has been submitted and payment has been made, so applicants should verify their details before completing the submission process.
What percentage should final-year students enter in the XAT application form?
Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation should enter the aggregate marks obtained up to the latest completed semester or year at the time of filling out the application form.
How should I enter marks for a five-year integrated couINRe?
Candidates who have completed a five-year integrated programme can enter the same percentage for both graduation and post-graduation, as applicable to the application form.
What should I do if my XAT application fee payment fails?
Payment may fail because of issues related to the bank, internet connection or browser. Candidates can try making the payment again using another available payment method or browser. If the issue continues, they can raise a query through the “Any Query? Ask Us” option on their dashboard and provide a screenshot of the error, if required.
