NIT Calicut Admission 2025: Eligibility, Courses and Application Process

NIT Calicut admissions 2025 are available at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels for various courses. The admission portal is currently open for admission to management courses. NIT Calicut offers popular courses such as B.Tech, B.Arch, Integrated B.Sc B.Ed, M.Tech, M.Sc, and MBA, among others. Each course is available in numerous specialisations. An integrated B.Sc. The B.Ed course has been recently introduced at NITC, in line with the implementation of NEP 2020. The specialisations under the B.Tech program are Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Engineering Physics. Students can opt for a wide range of specialisations available under the M.Tech program. NIT Calicut total fee for UG and PG courses ranges from INR 30,000 to INR 6,25,000.

Admissions at NIT Calicut are based on the merit of the qualifying examinations. For UG courses, candidates must have qualified for class 12 with a minimum of 75% marks for B.Tech and 50% for B.Arch, respectively. A graduation degree in the required field with a minimum of 50% marks is necessary to be eligible for NIT Calicut PG admissions 2025. The CAT 2025 exam is scheduled for 30 November 2025, and the results are likely to be announced in the first week of January 2026. The CAT application fee has been revised to INR 2600 for General category candidates and INR 1300 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
