CEED Exam Dates 2027: Registration( Started), Admit Card, Exam, Answer Key and Result

CEED Exam Dates 2027 have been announced by IIT Bombay through the official information brochure. Registration started on October 1, 2026, the admit card will be available from January 1, 2027, and the CEED exam is scheduled for January 17, 2027. The result will be declared on March 3, 2027, followed by scorecard availability from March 10.

CEED Important Dates 2027

The complete CEED 2027 schedule covers registration, admit card, examination, answer key, Part-A cutoff, result and scorecard dates. IIT Bombay has also specified deadlines for submitting comments on the draft Part-A answer key and downloading the scorecard.

Important: IIT Bombay advises candidates to check the official CEED website for any updates to the schedule. Requests to change the examination date or time will not be considered.

CEED Registration Dates 2027

CEED Registration 2027 started on October 1, 2026, at 1:00 pm. The regular registration window closes on October 31, 2026. Candidates who miss the regular deadline can submit the form with a INR 500 late fee until November 6, 2026, at 5:00 pm.

The application must be submitted online. Candidates should complete the form within the applicable deadline and check all details before submitting it.

CEED Admit Card Date 2027

The CEED Admit Card 2027 will be available for download from January 1, 2027, at 1:00 pm. Candidates can download it until the date of the examination. The official schedule provides January 8, 2027, at 5:00 pm as the deadline for rectifying discrepancies in the admit card.

Candidates should check the details printed on the admit card after downloading it. A clear printout should be carried to the examination centre.

CEED Exam Date 2027

The CEED Exam Date 2027 is January 17, 2027. The examination will be conducted from 9:00 am to 12 noon. CEED 2027 consists of Part-A and Part-B, and candidates must attempt both parts.

Part-A contains objective questions in NAT, MCQ and MSQ formats. It evaluates areas such as visual and spatial ability, environmental and social awareness, analytical and logical reasoning, language, observation and design sensitivity. Part-B tests design, drawing and writing skills.

CEED Answer Key Dates 2027

IIT Bombay will release the draft Part-A answer key and candidate responses on January 19, 2027. Candidates can upload comments on the draft answer key through the candidate portal until January 21, 2027, at 5:00 pm. The final Part-A answer key will be released on January 26, 2027, at 5:00 pm.

Note: The comment facility applies to the draft Part-A answer key. The official brochure provides these dates as part of the CEED 2027 examination schedule.

CEED Part-A Cutoff Date 2027

The CEED Cutoff 2027 Part-A will be announced on February 4, 2027. Part-A marks are used to shortlist candidates for Part-B evaluation. The brochure specifies a category-wise cutoff calculation based on the distribution of Part-A marks.

For the General category, the cutoff is calculated as δ = μ + σ/2, where μ represents the average marks and σ represents the standard deviation of marks obtained by all candidates in Part-A. The cutoff for OBC-NCL and EWS candidates is 0.9δ, while the cutoff for SC, ST and PwD candidates is 0.5δ.

CEED Result Date 2027

The CEED Result 2027 Date is March 3, 2027. IIT Bombay will publish the result on the official CEED website. Candidates can download their scorecards from March 10, 2027.

The CEED 2027 score remains valid for one year from the date of result declaration. Qualifying CEED does not guarantee admission because participating institutes may apply additional selection requirements.

CEED Scorecard Date 2027

The CEED Scorecard Date 2027 is March 10, 2027. Candidates can download the scorecard from the candidate portal. The last date for downloading the CEED 2027 scorecard is July 31, 2027.

The scorecard is valid for one year from the date of declaration of the result. It cannot be treated as proof of date of birth, category or disability status.

What After CEED Result 2027?

After the result, qualified candidates can apply to the relevant M.Des. and Ph.D. programmes offered by participating institutes. Each institute handles its own admission process and may conduct additional tests or interviews. CEED qualification alone does not guarantee admission.

Candidates should therefore check the admission notification of each institute separately after the CEED result is declared.

CEED 2027 Exam Cities

CEED 2027 will be conducted in 30 cities in India across several CEED Exam Centers. Candidates must select three cities in order of preference during registration. Once the form is submitted, requests for a change of examination city will not be entertained.
