The CLAT 2025 was administered to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students. The UG examination consisted of 120 questions and was to be completed within 2 hours. It was a test of five parts, including English Language, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. The English language section consisted of 24 questions based on 4 passages and was not difficult. Current Affairs was also easy with 5 passages of 28 questions. Legal Reasoning consisted of 32 questions based on 6 passages that were not challenging. Much more difficult were Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques, with 24 and 12 questions, respectively. In the case of UG students, good attempts were approximately 105+, and safe attempts were 110 +. In 2 hours, the CLAT 2025 PG exam gave 120 multiple-choice questions as well. It specialised in the Constitutional Law and other relevant fields such as the Criminal Law, the Contract Law, the Family Law, the Tax Law, the Environmental Law, and the Labour Law. With each right answer, 1 mark was awarded, and 0.25 marks were subtracted with a wrong answer.

 

The round 1 NLU cutoffs revealed that the General category required top ranks, with the reserved ones, such as OBC, SC, ST, and EWS, taking higher ranks. This examination aims to assist the students in knowing the challenges of every part and make arrangements.

CLAT 2025 Exam Analysis

In CLAT 2025, there were five sections, which included the English Language, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning. English was easy with 24 questions and 4 passages. Current Affairs contained 28 questions out of 5 passages, which was also easy. Legal Reasoning consisted of 32 questions out of 6 passages and was not tough. The moderate difficulty came in the way of Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques, with 24 and 12 questions, respectively. CLAT 2025 UG Question Format

CLAT 2025 UG exam has 120 questions to be answered in 2 hours. It tests English, Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. Each correct answer gives 1 mark, while each wrong answer deducts 0.25 marks. CLAT 2025 PG Question Format

The CLAT 2025 Postgraduate examination consists of 120 multiple-choice questions that are supposed to be answered within 2 hours. The score of each correct answer is 1 mark, and 0.25 marks will be subtracted in case of a wrong answer. The paper primarily examines the Constitutional Law and other valuable subjects of law, such as Criminal Law, Contract Law, Torts, Family Law, Company Law, Tax Law, Environmental Law, and Labour Law. This table will enable students to familiarise themselves with the structure of the exam and prepare in advance.

CLAT 2025 CutOffs: Round 1 for General, OBC, SC, ST and EWS

The CLAT 2025 Round 1 cutoffs indicate the closing ranks of the various NLUs and categories. These are the last rankings in which the candidates were admitted to the BA LLB and BBA/LLB programs. Top ranks are normally required by the general category students, whereas the reserved categories have higher closing ranks.
