Documents To Carry With CMAT Admit Card 2026

On exam day, candidates must carry original copies of their ID proofs, as their identity will be verified before entering the hall. Some other documents to be carried are as follows:

• Admit Card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website (a clear printout on A4 size paper), duly filled in.
• One passport-size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) to paste into the attendance sheet.
• ID Proof such as PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card
• PwD certificate/UDID Card (if applicable)
• Name change certificate if the name on the CMAT Admit Card is different from the Photo ID proof.

Allowed Items

Candidates are only allowed to carry the following items into the exam hall. They must note that only original copies of valid ID proofs are permitted.

• Valid ID card along with two copies of the admit card
• A simple transparent Ballpoint Pen.
• Personal, transparent water bottle.
• Sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) in case the candidate is diabetic.

Not Allowed Items

Certain items are not allowed inside the exam hall. If a candidate is found carrying any prohibited item, they will be disqualified. The list of prohibited items is as follows:

• Books, notebooks, or loose paper
• Mobile phone, smartwatch, pager, iPad, calculator, earbuds, or any electronic item
• Jewellery and accessories that have metal
• Food items (except for diabetic candidates who have special permission to carry fruits/sugar)
• Closed shoes, caps, jackets with pockets, and hoodies

CMAT Admit Card 2026: Exam Day Instructions

The NTA provides important exam-day instructions on the CMAT Admit Card. Candidates must read and follow the guidelines below carefully to understand the dos and don'ts for the exam day.

• Candidates must report to the examination centre two hours before the scheduled exam time.
• Registration formalities will close 90 minutes before the exam.
• Candidates should take their seats immediately after opening the exam hall to avoid delay.
• If any candidate is found to change his/her allotted seats, it will be considered an unfair means of practice.
• Candidates must present their CMAT Admit Card at the time of entry into the exam hall.
• After taking their seats, candidates must ensure that the question paper displayed on the computer screen is for the subject code they have opted for. If it differs, they must report to the invigilator concerned.
• No candidates will be allowed to leave their seats without special permission.
• All calculations should be performed on the rough sheet provided at the exam centre. Upon completion of the test, these sheets should be handed over to the invigilators.
• The candidates must sign and paste the photograph on the Attendance Sheet.
