IIT Roorkee started the GATE 2025 Exam on February 1, 2025. The first shift was conducted for CS1, AG, and MA subjects and the second shift was held for CS2, NM, MT, TF, and IN. GATE 2025 Exams for CY, AE, DA, ES, PI, EC, GE, XH, BM, and EY will be conducted on February 15, 2025. Meanwhile, CE1, GG, CH, PH, BT, CE2, ST, XE, XL, and MN tests are scheduled for February 16, 2025.

Candidates appearing for the Feb 15th and 16th exams can download their GATE 2025 Admit Card from the official website. Candidates are required to provide their enrollment ID and password to download their hall ticket. Foreign nationals are also eligible to apply as per GATE 2025 Eligibility Criteria.

IIT Roorkee, this year introduced two new paper combinations. To help the candidates with GATE 2025 Exam Pattern the authority also released the GATE Exam Pattern 2025. After the conclusion of the exam, the authority will declare the result on March 19, 2025.The authority also released branch branch-wise syllabus on the official website before the exam at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

GATE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates interested in taking the GATE 2025 entrance exam must meet the eligibility requirements before submitting their application. Students can examine the eligibility conditions listed below.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must hold one of the undergraduate degrees listed below. Students who have completed or are in their third or final year of an undergraduate degree are also eligible to take the exam.

• Pass Percentage: There is no minimal passing percentage for the GATE 2025 exam.
• Age Limit: There is no age limit for applying for the GATE exam.
• Nationality: The GATE exam is open to Indian citizens, as well as overseas candidates with the required educational requirements. Candidates should be aware that there are no international exam centers for foreign nationals
• GATE International Students: Candidates from Nepal, Bangladesh, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, and the United Arab Emirates may apply for GATE 2025.

GATE 2025 Application Process

Candidates applying for the GATE 2025 Examination must follow certain steps below for successful registration:

1. Register on the GOAPS 2025 portal with a valid email and cellphone number to obtain an Enrollment ID and Password.
2. Log in to the GOAPS 2025 site using the Enrolment ID and Password created during registration.
3. Upload all required papers. The GATE 2025 necessary documents must fulfill the standards listed.
4. Pay the GATE 2025 application fee using any payment gateway.

GATE 2025 Syllabus

IIT Roorkee has issued the GATE 2025 syllabus and an information booklet. The GATE Exam is divided into three sections: general aptitude, engineering mathematics, and the candidate's chosen core subject. The General Aptitude syllabus is common to all 30 subject examinations.

The GATE question paper will feature 65 questions worth 100 points, including 15 general aptitude questions. The paper codes AR, CY, EY, GG, MA, PH, XH, and XL will have 15 marks for general aptitude and the remaining 85 marks for the specific subject. All other paper codes, except AR, CY, EY, GG, MA, PH, XH, and XL, will have 15 points for general aptitude, 13 points for engineering mathematics, and 72 points for the topic.

GATE 2025 Preparation

• GATE 2025 exam dates are approaching, and it's time to prepare and do your best to ace the exam. IIT Roorkee is preparing to offer the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
• The GATE 2025 admit card is now available on the GOAPS webpage as of January 7, 2025 (updated). Branch-specific exam dates have also been set for all 30 test papers, followed by new GATE two-paper combinations.
• The syllabus (subject-wise) and exam format are also available on the website. Candidates who want to attend famous technology institutes like IITs, NITs, and IIITs must prepare thoroughly before the exam.

GATE 2025 Admit Card

IIT Roorkee will distribute the GATE 2025 admit card ahead of the exam dates. The GATE 2025 exam dates (subject-specific) have been released. On 2nd January, 2025, those who have registered for the exam will be able to download their GATE exam admission cards. The GATE admit card includes information regarding the exam day and time, the exam center's address, the paper for which the candidate is taking the exam, and basic information such as the individual's name, portrait, and signature.

Candidates will be able to download their admission cards through the GOAPS 2025 login. Candidates should ensure that their photo and signature are visible on the printout of their GATE 2025 admission card. The Admit Card is only legitimate if the candidate's photo and signature are clear and readable.

The photograph on the Admit Card and the valid photo ID document should correspond to the candidate's appearance on the exam day. How To Download GATE 2025 Hall Ticket

Students can acquire their GATE admission cards 2025 by following these simple steps:

• Visit the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
• Log in using GOAPS Enrolment ID/Email ID and Password.
• Click on "Download Admit Card" to download the GATE 2025 Admit card.
• Download and take multiple colored printouts of the document.
• Check for discrepancies and, if any, report them to the Exam conducting authorities using the contact information provided.

GATE Answer Key 2025

The official answer keys for GATE 2025 are released within 2 - 3 weeks of the exam's completion. The GATE 2025 test will be held on February 1, 2025, February 2, 2025, February 15, and February 16, 2025. Candidates can obtain the official answer key by visiting the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in. After the answer key is released, candidates should rapidly check and compare their responses. Students can calculate their predicted exam score using the response sheet and answer key before the results are released.

Candidates who are dissatisfied with the answer key can contest it for a price of 500 rupees per question. The answer key challenge window is only open for 2-3 days, therefore candidates must be mindful of the time constraints.

Candidates can download the solution key by following the steps below:

• Click the Candidate Login link.
• To obtain the GATE Answer key, enter your enrolment ID or email ID and password. A link will be presented after login.

GATE 2025 Result

The GATE 2025 results will be revealed on March 19, 2025, following the completion of the exam. Candidates can access their results via the GOAPS 2025 portal. The GATE 2025 scorecard will be accessible between March 28, 2025, and May 31, 2025. Candidates who pass the entrance exam can obtain the GATE Scorecard from the portal. Every candidate's GATE Score is calculated on a scale of 0 to 1000 using normalization. The GATE scorecard will be valid for three years from the date of the GATE result in 2025.

GATE 2025 Cutoff

GATE 2025 cut-offs will be announced alongside the GATE 2025 results. GATE cutoffs are the minimum grades required for admission to M. Tech, M.E, M.Plan, or other post-graduate programs at India's most prestigious universities, including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. In general, GATE cutoffs for various papers range from 25 to 50 out of 100, depending on a variety of parameters.

GATE Qualified candidates have two choices for the counseling procedure. GATE-qualified applicants can choose COAP for IIT MTech courses and CCMT for NIT, IIIT, and GFTI MTech programs. Eligible candidates must attend the GATE 2025 counseling sessions as scheduled. GATE COAP 2025: The Counselling Process

The Common Offer Acceptance Portal, also known as COAP, provides a common platform for all participating institutes to fill all M.Tech. Seats and for participating PSUs to upload job offers to GATE-qualified students. COAP 2025 will be held in five main and five extra rounds. COAP 2025 main round of counseling is expected to take place in five sessions between May 2025 and June 2025. In the primary five rounds, candidates must choose one of three options: Accept & Freeze, Retain & Wait, or Reject & Wait.

Candidates must recognize that five additional rounds will be decisive, therefore they will only have the alternatives 'Accept and Freeze' and 'Reject' in rounds 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.

• If a candidate picks 'Accept & Freeze', it indicates that he or she is willing to accept one of the available options and does not wish to be considered for upgrading to higher preferences.
• If a candidate picks 'Retain & Wait', it suggests he or she is willing to accept one of the offered offers but wishes to be evaluated for advancement to higher preferences.
• If a candidate picks 'Reject & Wait', it indicates that he or she is unwilling to accept the present offer and wishes to be evaluated for promotion to higher preferences.

GATE CCMT 2025: The Counselling Process

Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. [CCMT] is a common forum for GATE-qualified candidates seeking admission to NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs. The CCMT 2025 counseling procedure consists of three ordinary rounds, two special rounds (SR), and a national spot round. The CCMT will be held in six rounds between June and July 2025. Candidates will be offered four options for the allotted seats: float, slide, freeze, or surrender (participate in the following round).

• Float: Retaining past round decisions but being willing to make better choices in future rounds.
• Slide: Retaining decisions from earlier rounds at the same institute and willing to make better choices in future rounds.
• Freeze: No change in seat allocation; nevertheless, open to consider category upgradation.
• Surrender (Participate in the next round): No claim on the surrendered seat in subsequent rounds and prepared to take a better opportunity.
