GATE 2027 syllabus has been released by IIT Madras for all 30 test papers on gate2027.iitm.ac.in. Registration opening date on the GOAPS portal is 2nd September 2026, with regular applications closing on September 27, 2026, and extended registration ending on October 5, 2026. The computer based test will take place across six days on February 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21, 2027, with results declared on March 19, 2027.

 

The updated curriculum introduces a new Robotics and Automation (RA) paper alongside revised core subject outlines, including the gate syllabus for cse and gate mechanical syllabus, as well as updates for Biotechnology (BT), Electronics (ECE), and Textile Engineering (TF). GATE Syllabus 2027
