GATE Cutoff 2026 is the qualifying mark required by candidates for PG admission in IITs, NITs, & GFITs and PSU Recruitments through GATE 2026. IIT Guwahati will release the cutoff after the declaration of the result. GATE 2026 Result has been announced on March 19, 2026. The cutoff of GATE 2026 will vary for each subject and category based on exam difficulty level, number of candidates, and seat availability. The GATE expected cutoff 2026 for the General category will be 27-29, whereas for the OBC & SC/ST categories, it will be 24-25 & 18-20, respectively.
There are two types of cutoffs in GATE 2026, namely, qualifying cutoff and admission cutoff. The qualifying cutoff is the minimum score needed to pass the exam, while the admission cutoff is decided by the institutes during the counselling and admission process. IIT Guwahati will release the GATE Cutoff 2026 on the official website.
