KCET 2025 was conducted in offline (pen-and-paper) mode by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The exam took place over multiple sessions on April 16, 17, and 18, 2025. On April 16, 2025, candidates has appeared for Physics and Chemistry, followed by Mathematics and Biology on April 17, 2025. Additionally, the Kannada Language Test, for eligible candidates, was held on April 18, 2025. The exam was available in either English or Kannada.

 

Each session will last approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, with the paper consisting of objective multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The exam will have a total of 180 questions, with 60 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. As per the marking scheme, candidates will receive 1 mark for each correct answer, and there is no negative marking for incorrect responses.
