- Candidates must have graduated in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Candidates appearing for their final year exams in the same year are also eligible to apply.
- Those who completed Class 10 or Class 12 through distance learning or correspondence can apply, provided they completed Class 1 to Class 9 in a regular school affiliated with a recognized state or national board.
