MH CET Law Syllabus 2025 tells students what subjects they need to study for the law entrance exam. This exam is for students who want to take admission in 5-year LLB or 3-year LLB courses in Maharashtra. The 5-year LLB exam will have questions from five subjects: Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, English, and Mathematics. The 3-year LLB exam will have four subjects, which are the same except Mathematics is not included. The questions for the 5-year LLB exam will be based on Class 12 level, while the 3-year LLB exam will be based on college-level studies. The exam will have 150 multiple-choice questions, with one mark for each correct answer, and the time given will be 2 hours. The test will be held online on a computer. MH CET Law 2025 Syllabus for English

To do well in the English section of the MH CET Law exam, students should prepare the following topics:

  • Vocabulary: Learn the meaning of words (like synonyms – words with the same meaning, antonyms – words with opposite meanings, and analogies – finding the relationship between words).
  • Proficiency: Practice idioms and phrases (common sayings), one-word substitutions (using one word instead of a long phrase), sentence improvement and rearrangement (correcting or changing sentences), and fill-in-the-blanks (choosing the right word to complete a sentence).
  • Reading Comprehension: Read at least two short passages and answer 5 to 10 questions about what the passage means. These questions will check your understanding and thinking skills.
  • English Usage Errors: Practice finding mistakes in sentences, wrong use of words, spelling mistakes, and common grammar errors.

 

MH CET Law 2025 Syllabus for Legal Aptitude and Reasoning

The questions in the legal aptitude and legal aptitude section will be around the following topics:

  • This section tests the understanding of law, research skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Questions will include legal statements (propositions) and a set of facts. Students need to apply these legal statements to the given facts.
  • Some legal statements may not be true in real life, but students must assume they are true and answer the questions based on that assumption.
